I'm not going to blame the loss on refs but I did see plenty of hands to the face by the packers offensive line. One particular play watt's helmet was ripped off and Rodgers rolled right and threw a strike for a first down. Regardless I'm surprised by how little pressure our front 5 got on the packers. No secondary can maintain cover for that long

I don't usually blame the refs either but I did see closeups of Watt getting triple teams at times.. (and as you said.. his helmet got ripped off) wtf happened to everyone else at that point is what I'm wondering. There were either holds or our players just plain sucked all across the board minus Watt and Brahman, all game long.

Indeed Baltimore is hurting horribly on defense. If Reed gets hurt, they are finished.

this sounds strange but Baltimore is an offensive team this year. they've giving up chunks of yardage and points. fortunately for them, they can score too (except against KC) . Flacco's no huddle is deadly so we could be in a shootout instead next week.

Also noticeable is the guys that a good number of guys that were contributing a lot last year on the defense are not so much this year. I wonder if Wade adds more to his defense in year 2 that complicates things for the players.

Quin is second in tackles and forced fumbles and third in passes defended on the Texans, he's not lost.

Worst part about the game last Sunday against the Packers being on prime time: My Dallas friends didn't even wait till the end of the 3rd quarter to start hitting me with the "Ready for the Wade Fade?" messages and emails.

We're 5-1. This time last season, we were 3-3.

    Clearly we're fading.

Oh trust me, I agree...they're Dallas guys...obnoxious as hell....I'd just prefer our worst losses not happen on prime time when those guys are actually watching!

Take solace in the fact that the Texans D has yet to allow a Rushing TD this season...that pretty impressive...

Opposing Passing TDs(Rodgers for 6 of them)..12 TDs

wade's defense seems to struggle against defenses that have personal to challenge 1 on 1 coverage especially when we don't get any push up front. wade in general doesn't like to blitz if he doesn't have too. against team like the giants, packers, or falcons it could get ugly. just imagine 1 on 1 against jones and white without getting pressure, OMG!!!

His defenses here in Houston haven't showed me he can stop an elite QB. He plays his game, sticks to his guns - I don't see enough unique gameplanning. Maybe it's personnel too. I know he can but he hasn't shown it yet. Brees & Rodgers - those are the only 2 elite QB's we've played so far under Phillips.
