Green Bay should be 4-2 if not 5-1, they dropped the ball last week and were robbed in Seattle. This week we dropped the ball, credit to Green Bay's defense for taking out our running game and disrupting our offensive line. Anyone that has followed the team knows they have one of the best group of WRs in the NFL and thanks to some mental lapses on our part (both players and coaches based off what I saw) we made them look even better. Our record is legit, we deserved all 5 wins and this 1 loss based off our play.

Had a bad loss. Oh well. It's funny, when we barely beat the Jets by 6 or 7, haters were like "see, they barely beat the Jets." But of course never brought up that the Ravens, who they consider the best AFC team, have barely beaten the Chiefs, barely beat the Browns, and as of yesterday, barely beat the Cowboys. Not only were they "playing bad teams", they're barely winning those games against bad teams. We crushed bad teams. We were crushing Denver on the road too until the fourth quarter. The bottom line, we're 5-1! Yes, yesterday was, honestly, a disgrace to this team. It was sickening hearing "Go Pack Go!
Accidently posted, wasn't finished. My point is: We're 5-1. The Ravens are 5-1. The Pats are 3-3. The AFC is wide open. Hell, we're one of the best teams in the NFL. Even if you buy into the easy schedule thing, remember Schaub is 9-1 in his last 10 games. This isn't just a run of easy teams we're beating. We're playing will. But ultimately, we'll have to prove ourselves better then we did lastnight. Brightside, we're still in the run for the AFC championship and every team has a bad loss. Granted not as bad as lastnight, and not the Falcons.
I actually support the Packers as something of my NFC team. Following them even casually, I've seen their offense, Jones is a strong and quick had some dropped passes (wasn't as bad as Jacoby but was bad compared to those ahead of him) until this season where he excelled in Jennings absence. Cobb is a speed demon that no defensive back on our team matches up well against if he actually catches the ball. Nelson while not at last years level, still a quality WR capable of pushing smaller DBs and out running others. Combined with a QB of Aaron Rogers caliber that can both throw and isn't afraid to run, you have a offense that tore us asunder. Wade was playing to defend against the pass most of the game after the first TD and we were still getting burnt because of it.
That was an ass whoopin but i mean really, the green bay game was like one of 4 potential losses on the schedule, teams lose...lets move forward. also, i was at the game, it seemed like half the damn crowd were packers fans...damn cheeseheads.
What's your definition of elite? Roethlisberger has more SB rings than Brees and they stomped Pittsburgh last year. Ryan was ranked 7th in QBR last year (excluding Schaub) and is 29-9 in his last 38 regular season starts.

who has New England beat? Tennessee, Denver, Buffalo. (Texans won against Titans and Denver too) who has beat New England: Seattle, Arizona, Baltimore. (Green Bay beats the Texans) how the Patriots are better if they have won almost to the same teams Texans have won, and lost to not great teams.
New England is already a proven team. They went to the super bowl last year. The only unproven contenders in the AFC in my eyes are the Broncos and Texans. The rest (Steelers, Ravens, Patriots) have a least gotten to the AFC championship game with their main core group of guys. For proven teams, I don't look too much into the regular season because they're there in the end. This Texans team to me is different than last year, defensively especially.
The Steelers are not contenders. Last year they lost to a Broncos team led by Tim freaking Tebow and are 2-3 this season. Every team has to prove themselves every year. All the Steelers/Pats have proven is that they've had good teams in the past. Oh no, not that word again!

As long as they have that Dick LeBeau defense (which even though it doesn't look that great is still top 5 in total yds) and Ben Rothlisberger, they'll be contenders. They were pretty hobbled last year, Ben was hobbled last year also. I'm sure they won't stay under .500 for the rest of the season, especially with the Ravens injuries now, that'll give them some hope to try and catch them for the division. The steelers and pats core group of guys (their stars) have proven that they can get it done. They don't have to prove anything to me for me to consider them to be a contender. The Texans on the other hand, have had an solid victory in Denver and then a ass-wooping handed out by Green Bay at home. So again, until I see a great game played against either Chicago or New England which I think are the two best teams left on our schedule, I won't put them ahead of the Patriots before the playoffs start. The Packers game really wasn't about the win/loss for me anyway. It was more about how they performed on each side. Piss poor offense, piss poor defense.

If the Packers play the Texans 10 times, I'm sure than the Packers will not will 10 games. In the NFL, it is 1 game, not like baseball and basketball where you can make adjustments in a series. The Texans got caught believing their record represents them instead of having the mentality going 1-0 before the game. A.Rodgers had a perfect game and the Texans defense was imperfect in tackling and preparedness in offsides. I take my chances of Texans defense against Rodgers again, I'm sure he will not get 6 TDs again. Look at the Braves and Rangers, 1 game wildcard, both were done. Just this 1 game, Texans look like an expansion team, but in reality it is just 1 game.
