The reason why we are losing is not because of the defense as much as the inept offense...it actually looks terrible...dont know if to run..or if to pass...leave 38 seconds with all 3 TOs on the board...and dont start with the ball in the 2nd half...terrible lack of preparation by the Texan offense...which has forced the defense to play nickel most of the first half... Kudos to Rodgers...playing with a nasty chip on his shoulder...the Texans better wake up..before we get severely embarrassed on National TV...
Looks like Clay Matthews has the snap count down cold. Need to switch it up a bit and get the ball out more quickly.
i agree with preventing the hail mary. but the offense has sucked so far and this was the end of the first half, not the game. i'd rather have seen them just run out the clock and get ready for the second half.
Well the freakout comes from the following: Kubiak wasn't going to call timeout. The d and special teams were shuffling around and Rodgers was running up to the line. He could have run a play and gotten a first down by surprising the Texans. It was a joke. Kubiak can't imagine a team doing something like that because understanding the clock for him is like me trying to understand Mandarin Chinese.
The Packers defense is doing what the Texans defense should be doing. It's like the complete opposite.
That doesn't even make sense. If a team has the lead, they're more likely to run the ball. GB is still throwing it but it's not like they'd be running it more if it were a close game. We'd be in the nickel regardless.
Agreed - Kubiak didn't seem to realize what GB might do and was just waiting for Green Bay to punt until Rodgers started trying to call a play.
Battlefighting these beers isn't making things better in my house... O-line is getting worked. D isn't doing much at all up front.
don't worry. we all know that even the packers can't play a complete game. it seems like it should be more but an 11 point deficit isn't insurmountable.
It's so weird how the Texans performed so far. I never saw these dumb penalties called since Week 3, a national game. Then the secondary gets burned on Monday night and now this. It's like if you put the Texans on a national stage, they get nervous or commit stid mistakes. It's frustrating.
