This defense has been pretty unimpressive so far. Those TDs were too easy. Our rush d has been pretty abysmal (though expected). And our offense has been complete ****. If we can't stop them on this opening drive of the 2nd half, you can probably expect this game to be over.

The end of that half was big. The 3 pts instead of going for it on 4th so we could put 7 pts. And now the Pack got the ball to start the 2nd half. If they score, we are going to be hurting. I'm still not going to be that mad, b/c if we lose, at least we lose to a team who looks like their nearly undefeated selves from last year. Also, no one goes undefeated. It aint happening.

Win or lose, this is a situation we can learn a lot from.

I wouldn't say that. A couple years ago we got way down and made lots of comebacks. We didn't always win (thank you Kris Brown) but we were able to comeback. The defense just couldn't hold any kind of lead in those games.

i'm really not sure why everyone is freaking out either. our offense hasn't exactly been on fire, they were punting from the 50 and likely to pin us deep with under 30 seconds left even with a timeout. you're just going to run the ball and if green bay somehow uses their 3 timeouts left perfectly, might even be able to miraculously get the ball back and accidentally score. not much upside to the timeout as far as i was concerned. i don't think they meant it that way since the D was just confused, but calling it at 19 seconds was probably a good way to prevent GB from trying any hail mary and making sure their timeouts couldn't stop the clock.

Terrible half defensively. I'm surprised they only scored 21. Hopefully they get it figured out at halftime

    Kubiak never takes risks.
    Not surprised.

Also not surprised that our secondary gets exposed when our pass rush isn't working.

If you just let the clock run then Rodgers could just wait till the last second to snap the ball and then throw a deep pass as time expired. Calling the timeout was the only way to make them punt.

cool story bro... Thats Johnson when he was the best reviever in the game by a margin... Kubiak has to think less conservatively in these situations now. Now we have to hope that we stop the Packers at the start of the second half.

The biggest problems are on the lines. DLine and Linebackers can't get pressure on Rodgers. Our OLine has been getting schooled all night. We're losing bad in the trenches. We're not going to win unless we can change that in the 2nd half.

The Texans need to start taking some shots down the field.

So you want a cold back to be in there rather than your stud? Makes no sense. You can disagree with the play calling, which I do but having the backup makes no sense.

Calling timeout is necessary to force GB to punt instead of throwing a hail mary on 4th down. That said, it didn't really matter if they called it with 30 seconds or 10, if they weren't going to try to move the ball anyway.

But teams routinely get into FG range with 30 seconds left in a game or a half. Green Bay did it vs Indy last week (missed the FG). Atlanta ran 7 plays in 40 seconds today at the end of their game to hit a FG.

I think people were freaking out because green bay could have taken a free shot down the field. With our luck, they'd get a pass interference and get points

considering how badly the packers have dominated on both sides of the lines, 21-10 is not that big of a hole.

Mccarthy would've tried a hail mary if it the time went down enough though.

I think they will, as much as I want foster to get numbers, screw that against the packers and air it....
Hopefully the D will show up better as well

Still curious why an immediate TO wasn't called after that packers 3rd down play. Will be interesting to hear the rational, bit I would suspect Kubes will saw it is on him
