I like how when the texans want to run the clock out instead of taking a knee they add 2 pointless carries to Foster's workload and beat him down that much more. Got to get your money's worth!
Collinsworth dropping knowledge. That killer instinct is keeping Matt on the threshold of the elite. no?
You have to call TO there at some point. Green Bay would have attempted a 50 yard pass if they could have run the clock down to 3 seconds.
He has done this many many times, whether ahead by 7 or behind by 7 or 14. He'll pocket 3 timeouts and kneel the ball from the 20 with 1:45 left in the half. He just doesn't like 2 minute offense drills before halftime. I hate this, but that's been his philosophy his entire time as coach of the Texans.
It's not over, Texans just need something to drink...down 11 but I can't but think halftime adjustments will be made.
Or while Schaub is waiting for Andre to get separation, he gets sacked-fumbled by Matthews resulting in a TD for GB. I'm fine with the last 45 seconds... not fine with the previous 30 minutes. But, we'll have two+ pages about the last 45 seconds....
calling a timeout is pointless. you're going to be deep in your own territory with less than 30 seconds. the way the offense has been inept, trying to do something in such short of time would likely end in disaster.
