We'd win 7 games less bro, Hollinger's formula is unquestionably great.

Griffin sucks-->K-Mart=best scorer off the bench in the NBA

    Morris=not a bust

    Lvingston=Magic 1.5

    Stop embarassing yourself man.

Hollinger's formula predicts no change in wins, this shows how incredibly underrated Brad is. We all should learn from Hollinger's winning formula.

This is obviously a joke right???

Some people might have an opinion about Griffin's game, but it doesn't change the fact that he's a bonified superstar right now in the NBA, and he's a big reason why CP3 is even in LA right now.

    plus the Dallas pick

    Would you do it?

    I think I would.

(Taking on Prince's 3yr contract is the worth it --> all the rookie contracts that will expire at the same time as his, Lin's and Asik's. Making it posable to keep the now rookies if wanted)

    Lin/Douglas
    Doelfin/Lamb
    Prince/Jones
    Dmo/Jones
    Asik/Drummond

    trade - Martin, Livingston

    in time

    Lin
    Lamb
    Jones
    Dmo
    Drummond

Probably not because Drummound would be stuck behind Asik and we'd lose one of our best guys and perimeter defenders in Parsons. Also wouldn't feel comofortable playing Jones at 3.

your link doesn't work to me.

but i guess it's Patterson, Morris, Martin for Drummond and T-Prince.
Why would Detroit give Drummond NOW? he's killing it.
also, you are writing as if T-Prince was on some Arenas contract or something. He's getting 7 mil a year - and he's still a good defender and a solid overall player. An average starting SF.

    oh, so it's Parsons-Morris-Patterson, i guess.

well, that still makes no sense for Detroit.

    What is everyone's concern's nowadays-

    -backup Center
-Getting rid of Kevin Martin for something good

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=9twd7fc

    .....................................................................................................
Houston Trades-Kevin Martin, S. Livingston, Douglas, G. Forbes
Houston Recieves- T. Mozgov, B. Udrih, Drew Gooden, Milwaukee 1st rounder(Top 3 Protected/similar lottery protection as Toronto pick)

    Denver Trades-D. Gallinari, Mozgov,
    Denver Recieves-K. Martin, S. Livingston

Milwaukee Trades- Udrih, Gooden, 1st round pick
Milwaukee Recieve- D. Gallinari, T. Douglas, G. Forbes
    ..................................................................................................

    Why Houston Does This Trade-

Backup Center & nice First round pick. Milwaukee will probably be an 8th seed playoff team with this roster, and the pick might get conveyed in future years, but this is a pick you want if you are Houston. Possible lottery protection in Houston's favor if you can negotiate it like they did with the Toronto pick.

Mozgov will be a free agent this summer, but the Rocket will have the cap space and the upper hand to resgin him fairly easily. Asik/Mozgov will be suitable as a Center rotation for many years, and Mozgov has much room to improve.

Gooden's contract flat out sucks, but that's really the price you pay to get a draft pick like this.

    .......................................................................................................

    Why the Nuggets do this-

Logjam at the 3/4 spot and the need to free up some cap space. Wilson Chandler and Iguodala also play the 3 mostly, and the rise of Kenneth Faried at the 4 makes a serious logjam at both forward positions. Kevin Martin gives them a nice offensive piece going into a year where they could give teams like OKC and LA fits in the playoffs.

    ........................................................................................................

    Why Milwaukee does this-

I think this makes Milwaukee an interesting team in the East. After Miami there is a serious drop in talent(not necessarily star power in NY). You might even say that Indiana is the second best team in the East potentially. Then look at the roster of Indiana vs. Milwaukee's roster. Not a huge difference their either.

So the Bucks might see the addition of Gallinari push them into a playoff race that makes them an interesting team in the East all the sudden, and could make some noise in the first and second round of the playoffs. All of this while ridding themselves of one of their worst contracts in Gooden. The Bucks really aren't a rebuilding team just yet, and they might deem the short term success worth the risk of losing a future lottery pick.

    ...................................................................................................

    Houston's Roster-

    PG: Lin, Machado, Udrih
    SG: Lamb, Delfino
    SF: Parsons, Morris
PF: Patterson, Jones, D-Mo, White, Gooden, Johnson
    C: Asik, Mozgov

-Moving forward- 13 of those 15 players are extended past this season. Mozgov & Udrih are free agents, and the Rockets could easily rid themselvs of Johnson & Morris is they needed to make space for incoming rookies next season. Still a logjam at the PF postition. You might also be able to move Patterson if you so choose to later on.

    +Toronto 1st Rounder(If in lottery)
    +Milwaukee 1st Rounder(If in lottery)
    +Dallas 1st Rounder(top 10 only)
    +Houston's 1st Rounder(assuming lottery)

*Say a star player also comes free in the Summer, and you have 4 potential lottery picks to offer a team. Who say's no to that?

Iggy can easily play 2 and used to play it in the past. He didn't do it lately only because of the logjam of little guards in Philadelphia. But he's still an athletic freak and he defends all 3 perimeter positions, so it's not an issue.

The reason why Denver "might" potentially trade Gallinari has nothing to do with Iguodala being able to play the 2.

Their is serious money tied up in Chandler, Gallinari, Igoudala. Taking somebody like Kevin Martin back helps them out financially moving forward, and gives them other scoring options from the wing spot as well.

I would think that they would want to trade Chandler first if they could, but mroe than likely teams are going to want to trade for Gallinari first if they know they are trying to move one of their forwards.

I still think more than anything the Rockets should look to trade for future draft picks, not players.

    For example:

    1.) Martin, Delfino to Memphis
2.) Gay to 3rd team; 3rd team's expirings & future first round pick to Houston.
    3.) ???
    4.) Profit!

    or

    1.) Martin to Minnesota
2.) Derrick Williams, Barea/Ridnour to 3rd team, 3rd team's expirings & future first round pick to Houston.
    3.) ???
    4.) Profit!

Throw in some sweetener, if needed (e.g. T. Jones) to get it done. :)

One of the sucky East teams (Bobcats, Cavs, Pistons, Wizards) might be interested in those type of trades. Bobcats & Cavs probably have the best draft picks to offer. Do it Maury!
