Did this game stick with anyone? Since this thread first started I've been playing this game a lot. Lately I've been pretty much addicted. If anyone wants to play, add me: LeftLegCemetery.
Yeah i still play a lot. I have the same SN on the game. Feel free to message me.
We'll see about dota2. LoL has 15 million registered accounts and about 2 million people on per day. I doubt it's going to crush it that hard that fast.
Starcraft 2 has a similar game called SOTIS. (Storm of the Imperial Sanctum). Matches take hours to finish... If you are looking for a casual experience, then I do not recommend this at all. Especially since much of the community hates newbies.
I recently started playing this, level 8 right now. Not really a big fan of most of the champs I've tried out except for Ashe though, hopefully next week's free rotation will contain someone like Irelia that I've always wanted to try
I'm assuming a 'no', but is there a dota style game that use a fps/mmo style control over rts control system?
I play a few matches of LoL a day as "Groux." I rarely play DOTA 2, because I suck at it, but my steam name is Groux as well.
World in Conflict basically controls like a fps and its controls are damn good. WASD for camera movement is perfect (and I wish more rts games adopted it)
Time to bump this I think LoL just finished their season 2 world championship that was live at the USC stadium with like half a million people streaming it with a grand prize of 1 million dollars. Has it really become the biggest game in the world right now, come on I know some of you here play it check this infographic out... spoilered for largeness Spoiler
Used to play it. I think the stats are skewed. I know I created three LoL accounts that are now inactive. I remember reading they add in inactive accounts no matter how old they are into their numbers. I think that its free to play is also to their advantage. That said I think Dota 2 when its fully open to the public will take a huge chunk of its numbers. They've had two $1 million dollar tournaments. The last one was in Seattle and had a huge fanbase going. Play of the tournament right here.
I play it! It's in my sig ofc. Congratulations to TPA for winning season 2. The game is great and fun when your teammates don't feed. All in all, it's great fun.
Maybe...But the stats show total player registered and total monthly/daily active players. So I'm sure that takes there into account
i've always been a dota/hon guy. been playing dota2 and still play hon from time to time. LoL is too cartoony and 'casual'
