they're really ugly. Why do the rockets jersey material looks so much cheaper than the other jerseys?

 

Sorry dude..Patterson is gonna have to show me more! What I like about TJones is that he gets alot of offensive rebounds and putbacks. When was the last time Patterson got and offensive rebound, not often? Ppat plays small. Ppat is benefiting from playing with the starters and is the weak link. If Tjones played with the starters..boy what a team that would be..Parsons & Tjones..not even close. Ppat offensive moves are soft, rushed and unassertive..Tjones is very assertive on offense. Ppat rushes up bad shots Dude ain't gonna be the starter for long playing like that.

 

You got it all wrong. I don't give a darn about who starts.
Ppat has 2 years on Jones. Jones has more potential.

LOL. Yea basketball is a team game and +/- is a very team stat. It's highly dependent on the line-up that specific player is burning minutes with. PP being +14 doesn't mean that much in and of itself, especially when that starting line-up was all +14 or above.

Yeah, you're stretching too much . I've checked the preseason expectations on the rockets last year. All are expecting playoffs. The current team may not make it. Hoping I can be proven wrong.

 

Douglas is not exactly old and to be frank Douglas has more upside than Machado who really does not have much at all. Lamb should get more minutes and Delfino less minutes. Patterson should also get less minutes.

Yes I agree with you, Jones has more potential. I actually like Jones the most out of all four rookies, but PPat is better off as a more stable starter this year. Let Jones come off the bench and be a spark plug offensively. He can dominate the weaker competition better because he has a good size and skill combination.

 

+/- indicates when each individual player is on the court how much their team is scoring more or less points than the other team. Not a measure of effectiveness or efficiency. Not choosing sides between PPatt or TJones. But that stat just doesn't back up your argument.

 

If you make the playoffs you better be able to survive a couple rounds.

Great game. Sloppy start, but the starters got it together and the team D was awesome. I actually like Lin playing like this, don't need to be too aggressive if not necessary. He was running the offense well and more controlled. Sunday will probably be a much tougher test against the Spurs.

 

That is a subjective comment because Pat was very disappointing in his second year. He had a promising start but did not strike me as a good rebounder
