No want another Barg-nani, we need to bulk up Motie

But even Barg-nani took YEARS, i mean YEARS of frustration from the Raptors to really release his potential.

Patterson played horrible.. definitely the weak link in the starting lineup...many of those points were assist from other players.

Jones played the better game...both offensively & defensively it's not even close. Jones affected the game on D more then Patterson that led to fast breaks...Patterson had the dear in headlights look the entire game.Missed easy layups and wide open jumpers.

Patterson doesn't impress me at all.

He can be Novak like player for PG especially what Lin and Novak did with Knicks last season.

D-Mo does have post moves, but he just doesn't have the bulk to go up against the big guys under the basket. He has skills, McHale is just going to have to figure out how to use him. Maybe we could just try and use him from the the high post, he is a good passer.

I wish Delfino and Douglas would stop stealing young guys' minutes (namely Lamb and Machado)

Isn't what you want to see.
    However his defense is there.

D-MO will be fine. He was sick, lost weight, and is adapting to the NBA and a new team. He showed his offensive prowess at the end and did ok on defense. He is obviously more of a forward, however. So while he can get some minutes at C we need an established back-up center to come in.

So lay off D-Mo haters! he will be great...give him time

Is anyone watching the link where we can hear Bill and Clyde off the air?

They were saying if Anthony Davis was in the game, it would of been a different result.

Murphy gets to show off his pimp daddy suits. Some things never change. Is that a velour jacket?

I think I am hypnotized by Calvin Murphy's suit.

This is kinda misleading. Ppat had a better game, obviously, and played GREAT pnr defence, but missed many gimme shots he needs to make in the season.

Meanwhile, TJones also played some great defence in the post and his value was in defensive stops than in points. He did some good things today. But overall, Ppat had the better game. One game does not determine the question though. TJones had 20 last game and looked like a monster.

Europe is more physical and it's more packed inside. I don't think that's a problem.

he should be fine. He didn't really get so many opportunities from what i've seen (i missed the first half, mostly), and he always been pass-happy.

just can't expect much defensively in the low post.

Yeah I'm thinking they should just pick and pop him all day for now, or play him like Chris Bosh in the high post, but still feeds him a little bit in the low post just so he can have the experience playing against stronger guys.

I agree, but the way Delfino is playing I don't think that will last long for him. Douglas will probably keep getting minutes though I agree with you I would rather see Machado.

It was first half, where he had two low post opportunities iso against smaller players, he missed both (one being an airball). The moves and footwork were okay actually, it just seems like he was rushing the finish.

Can someone explain to me what's so great about Ppat..he's like a poor mans Car Landry. His jump shot isn't even good. Why should Ppat start...dude can't rebound at all. TJones goes up and gets the rebound on offense and defense..alot of those rebounds Patterson got fell to him.

Oh I agree one game doesn't determine the question - but that was my whole point. Jones was fantastic last game - but it was just one game. He still has a ways to go before I think the starter spot is his. I hope he's able to win that spot though. And I hope it's because his play is that great and not because Patterson is playing poorly.
