Sending Dmo to the DLeague would be counterproductive i think. He is the only player anywhere close to a backup center on this team.

He also runs the floor well. He should stay and mesh with this team.

Dmo is an outside shooter. That's what he does. Asking him to bang underneath the basket is wrong.

    "D-MO FOR 3-MO!"

Uh oh. They seem to like Bullard's suggestion.

Dmo just needs touches. It's pretty clear he is more of an offensive player and if he doesnt get enough touches, his talent is wasted.

Not strong enough imo to full utilize them. But the skill and footwork is definitely there, very excited to see how he develops.

He has post moves. He is a finesse player like Yao and is probably still getting used to the physical play of the NBA.

The question is whether we want to keep him that way or hone him up to a more physical type of player, kind of like what JVG did with Yao.

I'm glad D-Mo finished strong offensively. Maybe it'll help his confidence going into the next game. Of course, confidence hasn't ever really been his problem has it?

He needs touches for open set jumpers not for back to basket plays.

Totally agree. I feel that he's trying to build the team camaraderie right now.

He understands that unity is what's important right now and if he shows off too much or becomes too dominate, people will think the money has gone to his head and that he's becoming arrogant.

So he's taking the time right now to guide the team and show them that he's on their side. This is why he was so effective last year with mostly average players.
