McCamey and Fogg sounds like a TV police show.

TJ was the most impressive last night. Douglas was the most surprising-- some of his assists were really sweet.

Lee trade was good will move.

    ...and more loves picks.

2nd round pics are roughly worth what our salary obligation is to jjj. Plus we got a free look at him

We can't cut JJJ. We need him for our "PF barrage" attack! That's going to be our signature play this season. Book it!

but seriously, can we keep him instead of Smith? Body vs. finesse i guess (admittedly limited finesse...)

Yes, ok, but jjj salary count agains our cap space.
A bigger salary space can help to get another first before trade deadline.

The Lee S&T was most definitely to obtain that Charlotte second rounder. Expected to be in the low 30s, that pick is easily worth $2M+ in cash (assuming you could even get a team to trade a pick that high to you). Plus, they get to take a look at a recent first rounder in Johnson for less than $1.1M.

If it's a toss-up between Johnson and Smith for the 15th roster spot, please note that the Rockets would actually LOSE about $381k in cap room if they keep Smith and waive Johnson (unless another team claims Johnson off waivers). It's really not that big a deal, but take it for what it's worth.

Smith, Johnson and Brockman are most likely to get cut next. Livingston or Forbes might get cut too if we get a back up C.

Could we forego the "appreciation" threads since most of us didn't know these players were on the roster?

That's exactly why they should be appreciated.

With Lin on the team now, doesn't that make it feel less bleak to get cut by us?

Seriously, I bet having Lin on the team makes everyone feel their "possibility".

No takers for JJJ? No team would flip a second rounder for him?

Not when they know there is a good chance they can have him for free in a couple weeks.

It would have to be a David Andersen type of trade where the team taking him would probably want cash along with JJJ for a very conditional 2nd round pick. Since the Rockets have 2nd rounders to spare already they are better off just waiving him.

I think signing lee for 5 mullion per year was a better option ( no team make a better offer and boston alone could not do it)
We spent 4.1 in jjj and delfino.
Lee value is more than a good second pick

Lee took less money to play for a winner. He wouldn't have signed with us for that little. He wants a ring, there was no point for him to stay here and try and get it with us.

Please, remember that lee was a rfa.
I don't see teams with capspace offering lee 7/8 millions contract
Maybe phoenix again, was the only possibility.
And after watching afflalo trade value, lee trade doesn't look good

We were not going to resign Lee no matter the price. That 2nd rounder from the Bobcats is gold. Plus, we helped him get where he wanted to go. Morey's way of taking care of his players.
