Looked a lot better than I expected considering his initial prognosis. I have always loved Roy as a player and I hope he gets ALL THE SUCCESSES.

Kind of ironic he's now playing for the Wolves when the Wolves had him in the first place.

Yep... now they shouldn't play him again until March.

Seriously though, they are going to be a fun team to watch. I dont even know if they are going to make the playoffs, but its going to be classic Adelman offense all day long.

Not sure if you watched the game or not, but they are really experimenting with Love running the corner sets. I almost thought it was Brad Miller there a few times.

If Roy can give them minutes off the bench this season without any setback he will really be cruicial for them in late game situations where they can put him in a P&R with Love and run efficient half court sets. Thats something Adelman motion offense teams have struggled with in the past. Having someone to run their offense through in late game situations. Should be a fun team to watch.

If his knee holds up and Rubio makes a comeback towards the end of the season...watch out for them wolves! (Obligatory Liam Neesom remark)

All I could see was that exquisite, beautiful Princeton offense. And that dull, sickening nausea hit my gut again.

I didn't realize the budinger and budinjer twins both played for the wolves now!

But, I really hope Roy's procedures last. He should be amazing out there with that roster and Adelman.

and definitely a vhs-rip, rtm.

I think it was Zach Lowe on Grantland that wrote an article this week on his all-season pass teams to watch. He didn't include Minnesota and I was damn near about to throw something at the computer. I know Rubio is out but if you think the Hawks will be more fun to watch than the T-Wolves this season then you(Zach Lowe) lose some credibility in my opinion.

    Budinger and 1 three <3

But seriously though, Roy looks a lot better than expected, it's just durability they need to worry about.

    I'll just say this.

Adelman is a hellava coach. Some of the elite teams really need to look at this...Cupcakes, I'm looking at you

Yes, he's a hellava coach, but not sure if the Steve Nash & Dwight Howard aquisition would have made the coaching hire any better.

Right now, Dr. Drew could coach this team mainly because the only thing you need is someone who can manage all the personalities. The system they will run should be very elementary. Not sure why they even needed to hire Eddie Jordan.

If they would have hired Adelman, I think they would have been best served running their offensive system through Gasol in the high post. Could have done wonders for both him and Kobe going into the twilight of their careers.

Now, with Dwight most of their plays are going to revolve around dumping the ball in the post, draw a double team, and kick out for open 3's. Makes me a bit sad because I think Gasol is one of the most underated big men to ever play the game, and playing with Dwight will really dimenish his role on the team.

but they are very seriously talking about Princeton. Frankly, it makes no sense to me. Great for Pau, but... It will be interesting to see how it goes and how much Princeton they will really use.

Sounds like they weren't planning on aquiring Dwight Howard then. Because once he gets healthy and in the rotation... Eddie Jordan's plays are completely useless.

Its all about slowing down game, 4 out/1 in, and occasionally running some P&R with Dwight rolling to the rim.

Saying your going to run the princeton offense, and have Dwight Howard on the court at the same time is like saying your going to take a Toyota Prius, and make it an off road vehicle.

I was extremely worried about Roy, but he legitimately still looks good.
