    How can he be the next Yao?

    He's not Chinese. He wasn't even born in Asia. He's not 7'6". He is nowhere near Yao's talent in terms of being a basketball player.

    The only thing they have in common is they are both Asian and they have played for the Rockets.

    wtf?? at least the Lin Yao joke made sense because both are Chinese, but Machado is Brazilian and Olajuwon is black. Just because Machado is dark skinned doesn't make him black too, racist.

    Brazilian and black are NOT mutually exclusive!! Man, some people here really don't understand different ethnicities.

    And by the way, Machado clearly has some African ancestry.
