1) Why are you not posting or looking for this information in the dedicated NBA 2K13 Online Association for Xbox thread? http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=226889 2) Yes....the draft is scheduled for 9:45 Central time tonight, Tuesday the 9th. 3) Are you in the league?
doing a create a legend with Lamb and seeing McHales comments "your doing great" "keep it up your gonna see more minutes" "your playing great like in practice" is interesting lol
Again, showing my noobishness again, but whats the main "it" thing to do in this game? Is it just online association, regular association, or doing crazy ish and play random games with ur homies or random peeps on the internet? As for Association (regular or online), did yall have to change the roster any -ie update any ratings? To me I feel Parson's ratings are a bit low. Are there any rosters that you guys have that you feel is more accurate that I can DL? Lin's personal D > Parson's? Parson's potential a "C+?" (whatever that means) And do I need to update the roster(s) BEFORE going into Association? Is the MyCareer thing apart of Association too? Or is it independent? Finally getting some free time, so thats why I'm asking and I plan on getting some serious time with this game. I love the gameplay so far. Thanks for the help and patience haha
Dude if you have an Xbox go join the Clutchfans online association! That's the most enjoyable mode in my opinion. Closely followed by MyPlayer, though I find that gets a little repetitive after a while. Go join the Clutchfans Online Association. Fantasy Draft and everything, it's fun stuff.
Indeed we do. Refer to the thread if you wanna know more about it, but go ahead and join. Looking to fill out a full 30 team league. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=227166
What in the world? I am a 6'4" shooting gaurd and occasionally play small forward (I am a bench player for the Pistons) and all of the sudden I started the 2nd half at center? Wtf?

Oh man I won my 3rd title on the Thunder with my 7 foot 300lb PF who mostly plays as centre. After the 3rd title, the next season, they didn't resign Harden and Westbrook?! Signed Bradley instead and Jackson moved into the starting PG role. Game got a bit harder without Westbrook and Harden. But I eventually adjusted and just bulldoze my way into the paint, call for the ball and dunk it Shaq style or Hakeem my way to buckets Into the playoffs for the 4th title and had a 7 game battle with the Nuggets to make it into round 2. Question should I resign with the Thunder or move on? hmmm Durant is locked up for the next 4 years, as is Ibaka, Bradley and Jackson. Perry Jones might get moved. But the rest of the team is an aging Perkins, crappy rookie PG, SG and a ton of scrub centers!! Infact I sometimes have to play SG
This game is much much easier than previous installments. Playing MyCareer as a backup point guard for the Rockets got ridiculous on All-Star because I would beat good teams regularly. Change to Superstar and a win is a very rare occurence, a blowout loss being the typical outcome. Enjoying a 12 game losing streak at the moment. It's always a problem in sports games - there's no intermediate difficulty levels. There's either very little challenge or what seems to be straight up cheating. About four or five games (in these last 12) I have gotten up 10-15 points only to lose it in a matter of minutes. Surprised Mchale hasn't been canned cause boy, he deserves it. For one he makes my 6' PG play PF on occasion. What I hate more is how soon you get big minutes. I haven't gotten a single A+ 50 games in (and less than 10 A- or A in total) but I'm already the starter over Lin. There's also the refusal to take me out. When the team has lost 10 points of a 15 point lead with me at the helm, take me out! The game is somehow more enjoyable this year despite maddening new issues. I ****ing hate the stupid "fall down, roll around and don't get up for two seasons" animations - I don't do that in real life so why does the game insist I play as someone who does?! When trying to guard someone, you are often at the mercy of animations. If the CPU uses enough of them, some glitch is likely to occur where players go through each other or some other nonsense. Another huge issue is that teardrops are somehow the most automatic shots in the game. Doesn't matter if the CPU pulls up from the free throw line, it's a swish. An old issue is the fact that occasionally you cannot speed up dead balls. This has been a problem for the last 3 or more 2ks. Is it really that difficult to fix this?! And enough cannot be said about how horrible the rebounding is in this game. No one boxes out. The defensive rebounds:ai offensive rebounds split is 66:34 or worse. It's pretty much impossible to win when you give up 20 rebounds and 30-40 second chance points. And as a PG, there isn't much I can do about it aside from looking at Patterson and Asik with disgust. Out of all the issues this is the closest to being game-breaking. And how about offering some other choice for your player's voice/answers? I don't see why a basketball player has to be a poorly educated idiot. The main positive is that it is more difficult to become a superstar by the end of the first season. My stats are atrocious: 7.5ppg on .33 shooting. Another positive is that the trades seem to have been toned down. I haven't seen any ridiculous ones yet. Feels good to vent.
The rebounding issue goes both ways, but it's a matter of positioning, boxing out and certain sig skills. Once I got the Scrapper sig skill, my rebounding count went up. And what was once sure fire offensive rebounds for the CPU players, became volleyball tips when I contested them. So not every player can rebound well. Not just by ratings, but sig skills as well. It's great to be able to get 40 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 block games on 8 min quarters as a 90 rated 7 feet 300lb PF/centre now - where most of my points come from inside the paint, 50% from standing dunks, putbacks - ala Shaq In past games, I would have been sqatted, unless I dunked it, and dunking was not easy to pull off. And rebounds were hard to get ---- Also I've gotten taken out of games, when I caused a lot of turnovers and point swings
