A couple things wrong with this:

First (as you previously posted when you were asking for the opinion that you're rebuking here), you didn't watch the game.

Second, if you're dismissing 8 rebounds as anomalous, how do you know "3-9 with 10 points" isn't the anomaly...especially if you didn't watch the game?

Yeah, that's why I was like WTF is Apollo seeing, since he started to complain about Lin early in the game. Lin really didn't do a lot, but he wasn't that bad.

(BTW Dragic also had 3 TOs)

    Heeeey, what's up stranger??!!
Of course i knew all of that, silly :). Still could have drove to McAllen. All the other stuff should and could have been taken care of beforehand. My comment had nothing to do with his disorder and everything to do with his professionalism.

Douglas was surprisingly solid, wasn't sure how he would play based on last year. He made some good passes, but still missed a few easy layups. Terrance Jones was great.

Two things, Lin also drew a charge tonight, so that was 4 turnovers in 20 minutes that he inflicted on OKC tonight. Secondly, if Asik can play 30 minutes a night at the level he played at tonight, ie, controlling the boards, defending without fouling, and occasionally running and dunking, he's gonna be very dangerous.

You mean running elementary PnR against their second squad including Thabeet who can't defend? Try again. Plus airball, and missed easy layup on fast break. There WAS that lovely bounce pass he made in transition, and I'd love to see TD play awesome but he looked more like the same TD as last year than 2.0 version.

I thought he was very solid. This was the first preseason game and he had 7 assists, which is probably more than he ever had in NY. How does he look the same as last year? He looks tentative to shoot the ball now whereas before he was always looking to shoot a 3.

Well, in comparison to last year I think he actually played pretty well. He still made some missed shots, but at least he looked like he is more confident. We'll see how he continues to play in the next few games.

Nice game by the Rockets. The State Farm Arena was not packe like past pre season games. There was a huge crowd in support of Thunder but then again ex UT Durant was in the house. RGV crowds are hard to figure out. I did my part to support the Rockets.

We won. Terrence Jones is MVP. Jeremy Lamb is remarkable in defensive rebounds.

Just ribbing. but for it to be "all over Twitter" means its all over your feed which means you follow a lot of Lin-related (fans, blogs, etc.) twitter accounts. I didn't see it at all even though most of my feeds are bball feeds (writers, players, blogs, etc. - though admittedly mainstream or Celtics/Rockets).

Just pointing out how subjective Twitter feeds are.

But it doesn't matter whether it was elementary or not, he looked serviceable, and that's hooray for us. Plus Jones tearing it up, and the Lin-to-Asik thing working out, it was a good day. Lamb, Martin, other than D-Mo, I'd say if we get past the first 20 tough games intact with confidence, things are looking good for me.

    Most important question ever:
What shoe was Lin wearing? Looked ill. Kinda looked like the AJ1, but obviously no one in their right mind would ball in that shoe. Still fresh as hell though.
