I think Jlin is his harshest critic. His shooting coach this summer stated that JLin is a perfectionist. So I suspect that the explosiveness/agility is there, but not up to his standard of thinking. Parson Chandler stated that JLin has played well during the practices.JMO

How can a guy say he's not 100% if he's playing in all the practices. The Knicks Chris Smith, JR's brother just blew out his knee, Flight White has a sore hammy and will miss the Washington game, Camby will be out 7 days for a sore calf and Stat has a bad ankle. Those are real injuries keeping guys from practicing and playing, JLin doesn't have a problem.

ppl always said the best way for rookies to learn is to play thru real games(nba games).their body will have to adjust to nba grind.he may practices like mad,but it's on the court he'll improve the fastest.
it's the same with lin he may rehab, scrimmaging against teammates, but his body will be adjusted back to nba level by playing nba games, not just scrimmages against ur teammates where they may not be playing as competitive as he would.(it helps tho)
what i read in the interview is that he was saying to adjust his bodyback to nba level.
    that's all

Apparently there's two gauges with Jeremy Lin: injury and game-readiness. He's 100% with thr first, but not 100% with the second.

in one interview he mentioned that he was trying to lose some weight to make things easier for his knees.

i think it's a bad idea, it's not his best "fighting weight"

i'm betting most of the weight he lost is from his lower body and leg muscle mass thus he's lost some of the leg spring and quickness

he's best at his NY weight, around 200 to 210, not like now, he's around 185 to 190. he's like Royce, people think Royce should lose weight but Royce understands his best playing weight is close to 270, mentions it in an interview.

    Good:
    - Good playmaker for first unit (kept the game close)
    - Good but not great chemistry between him and Asik.
    - Picked off Westbrook and Harden with 3 steals.

    Bad:
    - Still had the tendency of driving to a crowd of defenders.
    - Poor decision (high risk) in passing that caused TO's.
    - Wasnt much of a scoring threat tonight.

    Average:
    - Decent defensively against Westbrook, despite WB was in a shooting zone.

He played well in the first quarter, but when he returned in second half he was somewhat sloppy and then sat on the bench with an ice pack on his knee.

He wasn't jumping much to contest shots and wasn't looking as quick as he can be. He's def not looking 100%.

Don't listen to that troll apollo33. Lin had like 3 steals, 4 assists in first 10 minutes and that douche was already saying he sucked. Probably didn't even watch the game.

I thought Lin looked good, very quick and active on defense, even took a charge. He was penetrating into the paint at will, but didn't really look for his own shot much. Hopefully he'll be attacking the basket and finishing a lot more in the regular season. Oh, and he showed great chemistry with Omer, who was a beast today.

Fast break, quarterback pass to Asik:

    Pick n Roll with Asik:

Yeah man, don't listen to me, I'm trolling, he wasn't meh, he was great, all NBA level top 2 pg in the league man, Only reason Westbrook scored so much on Lin is because Westbrook is the Numba 1 PG in the league. All his TO's are his teamates being r****ds and being unlucky. He didn't even miss one shot, OKC bribed the rim, gg team sucks all he does is Lin Lin Lin

LOL, you're a buffoon. I doubt you even watched the game, you just looked at Westbrook's stat line.

LOL Lin fans challenging my Rockets fan hood, I laugh at the ironing

You will never know the feel of following a team for 10 years instead of a player for 25 games

I don't challenge your fan hood or really care about it either way; that's your own thing, and it's good it gives you such pleasure. But when ppl talk out of their arse without actually watching the game, that's what I call a true fannie.
