the ravens had 'new wrinkles' in their offense, everybody jerking, they show up to KC and score 3 field goals. IT's the nfl. each gameplan is different. No doubt they didn't execute and a ton of points were left, but that's why they will go into the film room. if you can't get happy for an 5-0 start maybe the texans are not for you.
you should jump off the bandwagon then. not every win is going to be a blowout. fans want to know what this team can do with a little adversity. well, they got some tonight and responded. and who cares if we're considered the best team right now. we're ****ing 5-0 and have the inside track to a first round bye and possible home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Schaub: Very excited to get a V on the road against a tough team. Excited about 5-0 but can't be too long. Short week with GB coming in. Cush one of the leaders. We'll see how it turns out. We'll move on. The harsh reality of our business. Arian played well, played huge. Our O-line and TEs played their tail off. Arian kept plowing forward. Huge to start fast. We knew they would come out ready to play. We tried to take that wind out of their sails. Started the game fast. D played well all game. Arian was outstanding. Guys up front were excellent. We left some out there as a team and we'll fix it. Typically, we go a 24 hour rule. With this being a late game, it's enjoy it for the flight home and get your mind ready for the next game. You don't enjoy these for too long because you gotta go onto the next one. Nice for friends and family to come to the game. Fun to come to the northeast where I grew up. Chris Myers: Great feeling to be 5-0. We'll celebrate 24 hours and move on. Played up and down tonight. Offensive line, we gotta take pride in finishing on the field. A lot of stuff to work on. Up and down season running the ball for us. Inconsistent thing. We want to establish the run. Frustrating thing to lose Cush. You feel for him. We have a vet team that went through this last year. We have no doubt next man up will step up. We were struggling to put it away in the 4th but to have a D to make those stops, it's huge.
We have a bad and people get scared? Guess what, all the other teams are having BAD LOSSES. The pats are 3-2! They lost to Arizona. Baltimore keeps winning by 3, 6 points, but you guys are still afraid of them and think they're legit..
I know Kubiak's stubbornness can pay off, but how many chances is Holiday going to get? K-Mart or Manning should return some kicks. looks like Cedric Benson will be out for GB next week, good fortune for the Texans
I'm just disappointed that we didn't dominate tonight. I wanted the world to see what we've been seeing these past 4 weeks and in a way show off our team.
Whoops, I guess so. I guess it was....low on WATTS! I mean.... Watts going on here?...No wait, Hey check out my ShWattsticka...damnit. Give me a minute I'll come with something.
Trindon's returns were bad, but he fielded the ball well. The blocking sucks, though. Marciano needs to fix that. Once we get back on grass we're going to fix a lot of this slipping.
Got another chance next week on Sunday night. If the Texans win that by less than a td, will you be embarrassed again? I mean, the Packers are 2-3 and are not playing well.
All I can think about is Cushing's knee. Hopefully, we get decent news tomorrow. By decent, I'll take 8 weeks gladly.
I was really hoping AJ80 could do something today... I knew this would be a hard game. Very happy to see us win ugly or not!
I've convinced myself the the Texans didn't almost lose to the Jets. They almost lost to themselves. All the plays that allowed NJ to score where started by the Texans
Ravens barely win, no one says anything. Texans barely win, you guys get scared? All the other top teams right now have bad losses. 49ers lost to Vikings. Pats lost to Cardinals. Bears got owned by GB. Steelers aren't so hot. We have the best record in the AFC. Our threats are the Ravens, Pats, maybe Broncos? Like I've said, they've all had bad games. Packers are 2-3, and yes we know "they should be 3-2", but really The Seahawks played them damn well.
