just because you end your sentence with "SMH" or "#awareness" doesn't make what you just said any more correct...what an annoying habit
Season hasn't even started, and we're already hit with the "injury" bug. I feel for the guy, but count me in the camp that just can't see how this can end well.
Exactly. Terence williams part 2. Why is morey in love with these type of players Don't expect anything from royce white. He is a child with more ego than kobe He will never be a pro. Just read what he writes on twitter.
I just viewed the Grantland draft day video on Royce White. The way his agent made it sound, he may not have been picked in the 1st round if the Rockets hadn't taken him. In other words, perhaps only one GM and head coach were "fooled".
What was Royce White's pure talent level supposedly was during the draft anyway? I know he was never thought of as a top-10 talent, but that's taking into account his issues. If he was squeaky clean, where would he have landed? Because the guy obviously has baggage. Different baggage from your typical NBA draftees, but still huge baggage. Is his talent really high enough to make it worth it for the Rockets?
Why the **** are you following him then? People choose to get these tweets. He's not broadcasting them to those who don't want to hear them. It's his blog. Twitter was created as a "micro blog" for a reason. You don't like what he has to say? Don't subscribe to it.
According to Kelvin Sampson, White is amazing with the ball, but is "in witness protection program" when he doesn't have the ball in his hands. Could he be a 6'9 PG, a la Magic Johnson?
Royce White's lack of spot up jump shooting ability is more of an issue for his success than any of the stuff people are talking about on this board.
and his driving ability and finishing in traffic is suspect. He can overpower but he cannot outrun or get by opponents easily.
Is it possible that Royce has the Rockets backed in a corner? Is it possible that he is that good? I mean, it is unheard of for so much attention to be given to a rookie that hasn't even played one NBA game yet. Is it possible that the Rockets organization has seen something in this kid that would make him worth all the trouble?
