Most of the ADA isn't fit for toilet paper, legally speaking. You can flush Title IX as well.

Roy Hibbert still bears a grudge against the Rockets for telling him he needed to go the the D-League.

And how many teams are within busing distance, Dallas, SA, NO. After that, it's gets pretty grim.

And I can't wait to hear JVG's take on this.

Brandon Jennings has been terrible from day 1. Whoever gives him big money will lock themselves into losing season after losing season.

"White said traveling to cities by bus within the Rockets division, like New Orleans, Dallas and San Antonio make sense.

He also said he and the Rockets will look at the option of him taking buses in the middle of road trips after he flies to a specific city."

If you read the whole thing in the link it says that

He can take Amtrak on NE roadtrips once he gets there.

Negotiation of bus traveling should not be the reason not to attend the media day and practices.

He will be sent to D-League when the team has road trip to distant cities.

Why take the bus to SA and Dallas? Just take the CTS-V and beat the team to the hotel and then back home.

Here's my question. What does his fear of flying have to do with him reporting to camp in Hidalgo, Texas? He could've taken the Greyhound down there or something. Serious question here

Him not reporting had nothing to do with his anxiety problems, he was negotiating and making his point. He got the Rockets to make concessions so it worked.

OKC and Memphis are 8 and 10 hours. And he could have the bus driven to the East/West coast and use it for the follow up games on road trips.

I am willing to bet that he will ditch the bus next season after dealing with a few flat tires and engine problems.

You might be able to do OKC and Memphis too.

Serious answer: He used training camp as leverage to negotiate an explicit accomodation from the team for his anxiety disorder. It's something he should have done when signing his rookie contract, but I suppose he didn't want to put his millions of dollars in jeopardy. But, if he went ahead and took a bus down to training camp, the Rockets probably would never have given him anything and wanted him to suck it up and fly.

Just an example of what a good first impression (55 point game) can do for a player in his rookie season. I don't like Jennings at all, but its been rumored that the Bucks are expecting to pay close to the max just to keep him after this season. That first impression is a good reason why that's even a rumor.

Not necessarily saying that this Royce White training camp things is going to kill his career in of itself, but it will adversely affect his playing time in his rookie season, and could end up costing him a rotation spot & D-league time because of it unless he really is that great of a player from day 1. I guess we shall see.
