Anyone still playing ? thinking about getting back into it but all my friends have quit by now and my gear is horrible lol. Need some motivation to come back. Next patch looks promising though.
I'm still playing... About to get to Paragon 28... I've been playing sparingly since the announcement of 1.05. You'll probably want to wait until then since there will be more better drops/gear and etc especially if you don't have decent gear now. Inferno machine, Monster Power, Hellfire Ring are all things look to pretty cool in the next release. You can sign up for the Public Test Realm and give 1.05 a spin...
Bah. I played the heck out of Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 (second one especially), and I like the changes they made to the third game. Torchlight 2 is more "traditional" in that they kept some of the more old-school mechanics, but I really don't think this is a good thing in most cases. Who needs town portal and identify scrolls, for instance? How does that serve the gameplay? Anyway, I won't go into it at length for the moment, but I'm in D3's camp on most things (though not all). Still planning to do at least one playthrough of Torchlight 2 with an Embermage... I'm not too far, only like lvl 16 or 17 I think.
D3 is more arcade-y now. Isometric is obsolete. If you want immersive, play something 1st or 3rd person like Elder Scrolls or Dark Souls. This reminds me, Blizzard hasn't come up with new IP since WoW. They're treading into Bioware level awful. Where the hell are SC2's follow-up games? Those should have been yearly releases.
Just made a WW barb spent the million gold I had on him. really suprised how awesome he is with the gear i have... can easily farm act 3 now for the first time. makes it pretty fun.
anyone gonna be playing new patch today ? Ill probably down to do some farming with the new monster power level stuff
Haven't played in a while. I got kind of bored after a while but I haven't played since anyt of the new patches. I have so many other games keep me busy right now so haven't had a chance to go back and test them.
