Saw the video. Royce White needs to make a choice in life.

He either has to grow the beard back or do the Humpty Hump.

Go down to the M.D Cancer center and tell one of the patients there to just get over it. He has an illness dude. Its not hurt feelings that you can man up from it is a serious ailment and working with ppl with mental imbalances everyday, what you just said is the most ignorant thing I've ever heard...

This is a serious issue and you guys are making jokes. "Oh he's rich, he should man up". Do you guys know how ignorant you sound? This is why mental illness has the stigma that it does now and ppl go there whole lives afraid to step out into the light and say that something doesn't feel right with them. Some end up commiting suicide because they don't understand whats going on with them and are ridiculed which leads to depression. This guy told the rockets the dealo and they drafted him. Right now instead of stupid jokes, he needs all the support he can get. He's going through more than you guys can understand

What are Rockets choices on his conditions?

    1. Let him have time to continue his own treatment in Houston.
    2. Rework his contract.
    3. Only play home games
    4. Become only a bench player.
    5. Let him take a full one year off without pay for his treatment.
    6. Allow him to do his request as long as NBA and Rockets rules are OK.
    7. Waive him and pay the rest.
    8. Trade him.

Understood on the sensitive nature of this. But that still doesn't explain why he and his agent brin up this plan NOW instead of months ago, why he can't dr live to McAllen and attend training camp while working on the plane issue and why he went to espn about it.

I did think to add it but Rockets has to pay so much for him to be in D League. I did not think that is a good choice. :p

    Welcome more choices however. ;)

My post is not a joke about his mental illness. It is joke about what he looks like with the glasses and his nose. He does look like Humpty Hump.

Right on. I agree he has a legitimate reason for the demand. But he is practically trying to get his way by holding on. That is what's bothering me.

The Rockets did pay a lot of money for Morris to be in D League, so...

Agree its no laughing matter. I had suffered from this at a certain point in my life after an extremely bad experience on a flight while flying through a very bad storm for half an hour, people were crying and screaming out of fear on the flight and I thought for sure the plane would crash. It took me several years to get back on a plane, but it can be done. Phobia's can be overcome and he needs some form of cognitive therapy and possibly a pill (like Xanax) in the meantime. Im surprised his problem was not addressed after the draft. I don't think the bus thing is going to work and I think all it will do is mask the problem instead of fully addressing it. I really empathize with the kid, the mind is funny thing and what is learned, can be unlearned. At some point he to needs to find a way to embrace the fear if he wants to have an NBA career.

I don't think that was the case. He was down here for the summer and I think he was pushing for it then but the brass didn't take it seriously because he was here. And now they've been trying to get him back and his illness isn't allowing him to function. That being said, I don't think they should give him a bus for the entire season but they shouold bus him down here and get him with a good doctor and and get him on a good anti-anxiety med that won't fatigue him. They've invested in him knowing the risks and now they should do their best to try and accomodate him. Get him to McAllen and send a psychologist there to have daily therapy

Ok, now this is getting ridiculous..I'm sorry but I don't see White playing too many road games or any games at all for the Rockets.

With the right combination of meds and therapy its very possible that he can play an 82 game season.

Les Alexander will never give up on Royce White. White is like Yao and Lin in terms of marketing power.
