This is an awesome play by Tony Romo, I dont think many qbs can do it: <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FMM3yChnXwY"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FMM3yChnXwY" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
Not at all. I was very impressed that it was almost exactly 5 years. You missed it by 1 day bro. I doubt anyone would be upset. I personally would like to see everyone's responce now after the 5 int game Romo put up.
schaub has pulled away in the race. At the time Romo had shown big time flashes but he's just never got over all his dumb mistakes. Yes, Romo has all the better tangibles but you just can't trust him. Schaub isn't flashy but he's so solid and just doesn't make near as many bad decisions.
what i like about schaubie the most is that he has that battlefighter mentality, never get too high, never get t0o down. If he makes a mistake like throw a pick six, which contrary to popular belief does happen to all qbs, schaub shakes it off and drives his offense to put them in position for the win. Not much you can do if the Rb fumbles at the one or the kicker misses. The detractors like to point out to the Ravens game, but what they erased from their memory is how ngata was breathing on his facemask. I've seen the elitist of the elite make that same throw with the same result, twice in one quarter. Romo on the other hand...once he throws an int, will try to compensate and force everything. He is still damn good.
Why does Tony Romo keep getting so much love??? This dude sucks. Too many turnovers, too much talk, no results.
I actually like Romo, but part of the reason I started to like him was that he reminded me of Brett Farve. Now, he doesn't play as wild as Farve at his worst and in some games does come off a great deal more controlled but he is still a "Gunslinger" at his core. And without the WRs that can make up for his mistakes and lessen their own you get games like the last few where the Cowboys offense is bad. Romo deserves some of the blame but he isn't alone, the entire team's offense is bi polar.
This. Matt is a smart qb. Puts the ball where it needs to be, doesn't turn it over. Does just what the run first team asks him to do.
