even the body language and the defensive nature of that women from the Obama campaign said Romney won the debate.. Not saying Romney is going to win and he most likely wont IMHO but he did perform a lot better tonight.
Undecided, eh? <iframe width="512" height="288" src="http://www.hulu.com/embed.html?eid=nlg_ios3tutcfrhatkiaow" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe> (hopefully this embeds... I do no think I've used a hulu video before.)
Nope, straight Democratic ticket the last 2 elections. The smug thing was one of the big reasons why I was favoring Obama before this debate. I still saw that during this debate as well, however can you really tell me that as an undecided voter, Romney came out looking worse in your opinion than before?
I haven't heard anyone say that. Everyone I've heard that tried to be impartial said Romney did outstanding. That was about as good as he could possibly have come across. With that said, I doubt this makes a significant difference in the swing states he needs to flip. You might see a small bounce in the national tracking, but this isn't going to dent Ohio.
I'm shocked at how bad Obama was. His campaign better start prep for next week now. First piece of advice for Obama: reach between your legs and see if you can find one testicle to work with. Where was 47%? Where was the Bain Cap? He let Mitt make up new policies on the spot and didn't call him out! Romney won this one.
Well, CNN and CBS have pretty much said that Romney won, so I sort of doubt it's just Republicans. And while I still am of the viewpoint that Romney will probably lose ( though I think he's more back in it after tonight), I'm fairly amused by the "this was an intentional loss" I've seen a lot of leftists try to spin it as.
Yes based on him giving me nothing. I don't care for all the he said she said blame game. Just give some details on your plan, let me know what it is your offering up. Not just saying mass is #1. Educate me on your plans please.
most CNN analysts are saying Obama came off as angry and that Romney composed himself really well. Seems like you are the one that is leaning Obama and going to vote for him no matter what. I think the big gain and win for Romney is there were a lot of Republicans that were not excited about Romney and were not going to vote. I generally lean towards Republicans but disagree with all the social conservative crap. For me I was undecided or to be honest didnt really care who won and wasn't going to vote. I now may vote for Romney. Thought he came more prepared, had the better answers and even though some knock him for not giving specifics he was a hell lot more specific on his policies than Obama was.
I gave Bush a lot of crap on his poor debate performances over the years, but as inarticulate and petulant as he was, the man told the truth more often than not. His opinions or extrapolations I would disagree with, but he generally respected the rule of facts. That is something that the Palin generations of Republicans have thrown aside. Its a beat Obama at any costs kind of thinking. No doubt Obama will change his style now that shots have been fired. I suppose it was a little naive of him to think that wasn't how this was going to end up. But hey, that's the guy we elected, a level headed pragmatist that is prone to compromise and averse to confrontation. So we shouldn't have expected anything else, either.
yea Macho is so full of crap trying to come off as undecided. I was undecided or didnt care but I can admit and be open that I generally lean towards the right. I don't hate Obama like a lot of people and he wins again I don't think my life is going to be any worse than if Romney wins.
The consensus of the media is that Romney "won." But the question is whether this moves the needle on the election result. I mean, guys like Andrew Sullivan and Chris Matthews and Ed Schultz thought Obama got beat, but it's not changing their vote. We'll get a better idea when some polls come out.
The amount of people getting their "first impression " at this point is comparable to the number of voter fraud convictions.
The transcripts are...insightful. All right? moving on. ???...did someone forget to take macro 101 (yes, tax increases, and spending cuts are two sides of the same coin) ...what in the f**k does this even mean . The details of the inner workings of "critical programs", is Romney ever going to reveal those to the American people? All Americans know are PBS and Obamacare. I urge undecided voters to take a closer look at what was said (really, what was not said in terms of details), and not how it was said. On that measure, Romney has lost the boat.
I actually have the same view as you with the conserv social views of republicans so I tend to lean obama. But im still keeping an open mind. There just hasnt been enough detail to rom's plans to get me behind him. That's all I'm saying. I want a clearer picture of his plans before I can make a decision. Hasnt happened so I still lean obama.
I just hope people dont believe that one debate constitutes victory of an election, if there votes are swayed because of one debate this country has some problems
