imagine the outcry if Romney gave a speech to a room full of baptist ministers sounding like Haley Barbour.
Drudge, Daily Caller Hype Old Obama Speech, Trolling Entire Political World So what's the point of this? Well, it's become an article of faith among many conservatives that Sen. John McCain cost himself the election when, in the late stages of the 2008 campaign, he didn't make greater use of the Rev. Wright controversy, and all of the attendant racial dog whistles it offered, to win the election. This rehash of a news event that was exceedingly well covered four years ago is less about new information, and more about fulfilling a conservative tribal need, left unfulfilled by the previous Republican candidate.
name calling again. you're pretty good at that aren't you? amazing, because we don't agree with you you call us bigots. not surprised really. been hearing this tripe for EVER.
Tucker why won't people pay attention to me Carlson in full meltdown this morning. On Fox after his video flopped: “You are seeing now the press, which contains many reflexive defenders of Obama — many throne sniffers who instinctively suck up to power — you are seeing them try to dismiss this as old news,” “It’s very revealing of where the press stands in this election,” “They have by and large taken a side and it’s a subversion of what journalism is supposed to be. It’s wrong.”
apparently we both have the dollars for this bet so lets make it more interesting. lets cut out the name calling for a year?
"Throne sniffers" again? He last used that little bon mot with Jon Stewart on Crossfire; still hasn't gotten over that incident apparently...

does the middle name Hussein matter to you? if it does then you're a bigot I'll call a bigot out when I see one tipjar bet is still on
It's funny when people try to pigeonhole "the media" as some singular, monolithic entity, when in reality it's thousands, maybe with blogs millions of individuals who have their own opinions and are constantly competing against each other for ratings and page views. Last night, however, we clearly had 3 different entities; Drudge, Tucker, and Hannity, working and coordinating together to try and create a narrative and clearly doing it with the sole purpose of trying to prevent Obama from being re-elected. This obvious showing of bias doesn't get criticized, at least not by those who constantly talk about media bias.
So you agree with gwayneco that it most of us feel it would be ok for the president to "rape a white b****"? RocketRaccoon why you so smart? Funny you don't denounce what gwayneco said, but attack vlaurelio for calling him out. If you quack like a duck... basso, do you honestly not feel pathetic trying your hardest to defend this lame thread? SIREN! THE SERMON!
Maybe you are the racist. He understood who is audience is. He also knows most of White America will not listen to him if he speaks with a certain dialect.
basso...no one cared about this video before the last election, and McCain was a better candidate than Romney. McCain and Romney are both terrible candidates by any measure, but Romney takes being a bad candidate to a whole new level. i am glad to see that Drudge, Hannity and Carlson are having another outrage party, though. their audiences clearly love this stuff.
you made a ridiculous judgment on the president based off of a freaking handshake. when you do stuff like that, be prepared to be ridiculed. i was certain that your first post in this thread was sarcasm until i read the next few.
