Do not try to belittle me on a sports blog dude....I'm just saying everybody has problems and he needs to step up and be accountable...sooner or later its going to get played out...Gary Forbes has Diabetes but he is at camp and dealing with his sickness....One of my customers had cancer and she beat it....its all mental either you are going to stand up or whimper out end of story...don't belittle me dude cause I'd never belittled you
Royce was the 16th pick. He was the best player on the court in every college game he played. It was worth the gamble.
I completely agree with you - I’m amazed at how many people are turning on him already. Not saying this is good news, but damn, can we wait a little before writing him off as a wasted pick? Wayyy too many presumptuous people here…quick to mark this the end of his career, quick to crucify Morey, quick to judge him like this is easy for him. SMH.
Did you tell your customer that her cancer was just in her head, and that if she stepped up and became accountable it would go away?
So you never flipped somebody off when they cut you off? Or been irate when someone got your order wrong. You talking like you do not have any wrinkles or stains in your life..I know you did that to people or talked behind someone back so don't even try to preach down to me or anybody in this Garm
No it's not. Anxiety disorder is as much a mental condition as it is a biological condition. In fact, a lot psychiatric disorders have a biological basis, so for you assume that you can just "stand up" to it is arrogant. Also, you don't beat cancer with mental strength. That's the stupidest thing I've heard on Clutchfans for a while.
You being funny but I dead serious right now...I prayed for her and the situation and told her that she will beat it and she did her treatment and I seen her and we was both excited and saying god is good so don't even try to play me sucker...
You cant just say "its all mental" to someone that has a mental sickness. Its like telling Mario Williams last year, "just do some bench press" after he tore his pectoral muscle.
I am not even fighting with you right now about this. All I know is that people need to relax and stop jumping to conclusions. Nobody knows the full details.
@RocketsJCF Statement from Daryl Morey regarding Royce White "We are committed to Royce's long term success and we will continue to support him now and going forward."
Is that you Booker T? So you are saying she had to go through treatment? Going to the doctor and getting help is what you call stepping up mentally? I am beginning to think you didn't read this thread where it talks about Royce working with his doctor.
Clinical psychologist here, and not really. While there is always a biological and genetic component to every problem in the world, dealing with phobias and social anxiety is pretty much all mental. They are also perhaps the most treatable psychological disorders if the person gets the appropriate care. Exposure-based cognitive behavioral treatments are super effective- I hope that's what he's getting. I know he has been receiving therapy but most therapists just talk to the patients and reflect stuff back rather than doing one of the more effective exposure therapies.
I think you missed my point...its a process. Much like Mario Williams cant just make his pectoral muscle better with doing immediate bench presses, Royce White cant just "snap" out of it without proper care. Its silly to say things like, "Man up and deal with it".
