Who can play the better two-man basketball with Lin/Machado?

    Asik
    White
    Parsons
    T-Jones
    Motiejunas

    My vote goes to Jones.

IMO He is the most versatile guy that listed above when you let him play 2-man bb. He can shoot 3s, drive to the hoop, pass out(if he wants) or grab & dunk. It seems like he can do everything you want him to do. Even though he hasn't proved himself as one consistant outside shooter yet, but his quickness and muscle really helps. When he is inside the paint, he can jump so high to either do a alley-oop with our great passers or just grab the offensive rebounds. Is he the next Odom? Idk, we will see, but he got the potential.

Kevin Martin is our ideal pick and roll player.

Easy. I'd say that 6'9 pretty boy from Florida. They will sell the most merchandise/tickets. Definitely our 2 most valuable players!

I agree on Jones. The guys is so versitile. I could just imagine opponents being bamboozled by quick passes back and forth between the 1 and 4 posititions in pick and roll situations.

All of Jones, Patterson and Motiejunas seem like great fits for two man game, as long as you put some (reliable) shooters around them. Since neither Machado, Lin or any of these three are very reliable and efficient.

If the question was which of the rookies is the best fit overall next to Lin (not just two man game), I'll say it's Lamb.

Eventually itl be D-Mo. As of now, it's to be Patterson. by far the most consistent outside shot at the moment, and if he has his explosiveness of his rookie year, he will be able to finish.

According to Lin interview, he was really impressed with Morris, PnR moves. He set good screen and roll/slash hard.

I actually think Lin would fit on the floor well with one of the three( Jones, White, Machado). I consider Lin to be one of the scorers on the team. He would play well with players who can get him the ball as well. With Jones being the best choice with Lin at the 1, then White. Lin at the 2, Machado.

Lin was assisted on a very low number of shots last year, and he was statistically pretty bad on the catch and shoot. The Knicks didn't really have any other good playmakers besides Lin though.

What's interesting is that Lin's shooting coach said he's actually does best at the catch-and-shoot and it should be one of his strengths. Rockets seem to have much better playmakers, even as rookies, so maybe that's one part of his game that can improve a lot this year.
