Great show. The latest season just ended. I live out here in Orange County now and wanted to get on the show but apparently not that easy to find tickets. Seems like it's invite only and probably have to know someone to get access.
I've watched this for the last 3 or 4 seasons and it seems to me the contestants are getting worse every year. The winner this past year wouldnt have made it thru half the contest in previous years....I feel bad for Ramsey sometimes, he has to give these schmucks a one year contract for winning his show, and I wouldnt want any of the idiots from this year to run my kitchen.
This. Ralph and Michael from the first season, and Rock from the third, are the only ones that really impressed me as "I think I'd invest in this person's restaurant"-level people so far, and I've watched through season 6. Also, I really wish they hadn't switched to the "guys vs girls" thing. Thought it was more interesting when the teams were mixed. And, incidentally, did anyone else think Ramsay was banging Virginia from Season 2 on the side? I can think of no other reason why he kept giving her chances. Gawd she was turrible.
