Jake Locker has already been ruled out against the Vikes. I'd go with his replacement Hasselbeck.

I agree on Richardson, play him over S-Jax.

    Tamme @ NE
    Celek @ Pit

    and

    Mendenhal v Phi
    Greene v Houston
    Britt @ Min
    Tate @ NYJ

I'm skeptical on Mendenhall since he hasnt played yet. Unless I hear they're expecting him to get a full workload, I'd rather not play him. Skeptical on Britt as well until he has a couple good games under his belt. Not a favorable matchup for Greene. Tate might be the best bet here, but I hate using backups.

    Tamme.

I guess I would play Tate and hope for a TD and a couple long runs.

I'm not a Mendenhall believer, he was bad before he got hurt. And also especially in the first game back, there still other running back options in PIT and they'll prolly give him a couple touches, but also go hot hand.

Tate is dealing with a toe injury. Also, Redman and Dwyer have been quite bad -- there is a reason why Mendenhall is the starter in PIT. I think it is ridiculous to start Tate over him.

Don't push your luck. Grab the deal and run before he sees the error of his ways. You take Newton, of course.

    PPR league?

Even so, Hartline has no worth near the 3 others. I'd take Newton also, especially if you need a QB.

I have Ryan. No need for Newton. Bonus pts for +300yd passing games.

Didn't know about the injury. But there saying its a "sore toe", I personally wouldn't worry about something like that. Monday night game, plenty of time to heal up.

Mendenhall might be the starter, but he was garbage before he got hurt... and Todd Haley is the OC in PIT now, and he doesn't care about running the ball.

Mendenhall might start, but I would bet all three running backs get their touches regardless of how bad they've been.

With the choices offered, I'd gamble HOU gets up big and Tate gets his carries. Just my opinion though.

Big MAK go with your gut. My picking history the first 4 games have been garbage.

Mendenhall's 1082 yards & 9 TDs last year is better than what Ben Tate gave you last year and Tate has only had one decent game out of 4 this year.

Tate only got 5 carries last week in a blowout.

Britt if healthy. If not, I'd actually roll with Greene. Texans haven't been great against the run, though Greene is a very different back than Bush/CJ/MJD.

What's going on with Gates? I'm thinking of trading him to upgrade another area. I'd be left with Rudolph and Fred Davis at TE. I fear that I'd never know who to play in that situation.

Rudolph unless they start using Davis more. Not sure you'd get much for Gates. At the end of that year the dropoff from Gates to Rudolph wouldn't be much so do it if you can get something you need.

Good move. I'm predicting Tebow takes over after they get shelled by HOU.

Next week IND for the NYJ.

Danny Amendola or Antonio Brown this week? STANDARD SCORING. They are pretty equal in my eyes and they are both going against good D's this week. Leaning towards Amendola...

Good D might mean more looks for Brown as opposed to Wallace plus Brown has been itching to explode. Touch call though. I'd lean Brown in a standard format.
