The Dolphins are better than people give them credit for. They actually played okay against the Texans (338-275 total yardage) and if not for the swats of JJ Watt for the INT's as well as that late first half fumble, Miami may have had a realistic chance to beat the Texans because they otherwise didn't play well. And if Bush doesn't get hurt versus the Jets, they almost for sure would be 2-1 and had their kicker not choked, they would be 2-1 anyways. And even if Miami isn't that good, weird things happen sometimes in the NFL, I'm sure you guys remember the Texans expansion season when all of their wins were unexpected, especially the blowout in Pittsburgh where they had 47 yards of total offense.
So... is Petersen actually good or what? People bending over because he can return the ball? Again, didn't see the game but I do know they got torched. What's up?
Coming into this game he was playing as well as any corner. http://www.revengeofthebirds.com/20...dy-becoming-a-shutdown-corner-for-the-arizona I didn't really get to watch the game, but I did see Hartline own whoever was defending him for big plays.
The things we are saying about Cardinals are the same things being said about Texans in Arizona. Give credit were its due. Cardinals are making noise and have proven they are contenders. They beat harder teams then Texans have beaten...those are facts.
Especially on the road. Given the history of this franchise, they probably go 1-2 at best over the next few weeks.
Kolb was on the brink, not of his own doing, but because he was being labeled unfairly as afraid. But being on the brink, and coming back from it, that is something you can't teach. Game winning drives and clutch throws. Seesm to me the Cardinals rallied around him and that in my opinion gives them something the Texas don't quite yet have. They need some adversity. I think the Texans have pushed themselves through mediocrity, and that is hard to do, sometimes imposssible, but they kept building momentum and moving forward, something to bank on, as many had given up they would push that envelope, but I think they will need something more to rally the forces, above and beyond talent, and I have yet to see it. Something to bond them together through the tough times. And a signature moment to refer to.
what about last year, having to play with the 3rd string QB and without AJ? for signature moment you can pick either cincy game, the one to clinch the division on the road, on a great final drive to have the game-winning TD or the playoff game, a signature moment would be the Watt interception. Game winning drive and clutch TD on the road ot clinch the division for the first time, is that enough?
