Pretty much spot on. It's no worse than any other country I have been to. I find it funny when people declare it's a 'racist country' when it has a city like Melbourne, one of the most multicultural cities on Earth, a racist country doesn't allow that sort of influx of different races/religions. I stopped in to Melbourne on my way home from a holiday in New Zealand(lovely place) and was on the train to my brothers and noticed we were the only ones speaking English in the carriage but everyone seems to get on fine there. There is certainly a group of what we call bogans aged 15-30 that like to have **** tats(often with the southern cross as one), holiday in Bali and tend to come from Sydney or Queensland that spout racist rubbish, but low IQ often unemployed douches is all they are.

I am anti-bandwagon...in the early 80's I was introduced to basketball. Everyone was Bird, Magic and then Jordan. I remember seeing old replays of Moses. Then a few years later I watched Olajuwon play defence, I played D so I was hypnotised. He got drafted first so while everyone was riding Jordan's jock, I chose to follow The Dream. Also everyone was into the east coast / west coast rap rivalry, I found a crew called Rap-A-Lot records and their Geto Boys. My love for Houston, and everything H-Town was born!
