Just played the demo. Wow I am a huge re fan but all the campaigns in the demo beyond leons were bad. Huge let down. Borderland 2 here I come re6 when it is 30 dollars.
Did any of the stories have the finding of items to progress in the story? Kinda like 0-3? I too am a huge re fan, but i might get 2k13 first.
http://www.metacritic.com/publication/ign?filter=games http://www.computerandvideogames.co...-round-up-critics-divided-on-all-action-resi/ here they are. lot of mixed reviews. I dont think I shouldve reserved it at gamestop...still debating on whether or not to buy it
I'll probably get the game when it's on sale; I canceled my pre-order. I've been hoping for the series to go back to survival horror, but with the series having gone Hollywood the past few years, I don't see them doing that.
Will be picking up tonight. People are saying if you like part 5 you will like this one. Many of the bad reviews are because they are still cling to the past.
RE 6 demo was so disspointing... I was actually feeling the leon campaign, felt alot like the old RE. However the other two campaigns were absolute terrible. Why are there zombies with guns...smh. Guns shooting zombies made RE6 more action than survivor horror. WTF Capcom, I wanted Resident Evil and I get Call of Duty/Gears of War? It ruined the game experience... game breaker, will not be buying this game.
Resident Evil 2 & 5 are the only Resident Evil games that i have played over and over. RE3 was ok and that's all the Resident Evil games I've played.
You should play 4. Best in the series for me. Not clunking like the first two. So much better then 5.
RE4 is the best. 5 was good and I thought 0 was OK. Haven't played the others and was looking forward to 6, but maybe not anymore.
Resident Evil 4 is my personal favorite of the series, followed by Resident Evil 2, mostly for nostalgia. Anyways, RE4 is one of those rare video games that I can play over and over again and not get tired/bored with it. I enjoyed it on the Game Cube, I racked up around 6 million pesetas, and I'm having fun doing it all over again on Xbox360, it just never gets boring. I briefly played RE5 for about 30 minutes and was immediately turned off by the sunlight (sunlight in a Resident Evil game?). The combat felt Call of Duty-ish, and the fact that I had a partner this time around, be it AI or online. Why is Capcom shoving co-op down our throats? I want to kill the zombies by myself like its always been in Resident Evil. Resident Evil just does'nt feel right with someone else shooting at the zombies besides me.
I loved 5. I loved the evolution of the game as well. 6 actually looks more like the older games with more puzzles. More so than 5 at least.
