Andre is only 132 yards short of 10,000. Does he get it vs the titians?

Probably not, as we will be running the ball because we'll be up by 30 at halftime.

He'll probably just need the first half to reach that mark, though.

playing against then without pesky troll doll FINIGAN in his ear all day, he may have a monster game. I say he gets it with less than 8 catches.

Wouldn't be surprised if he got it during the next game, Monday Night I think, but it will all depend on what the Titans defense gives the Texans offense. As one commentator said, they give up about 150 yards rushing per game, including 125 for a Patriots team that doesn't have a strong run game, so...

I think Andre is gonna break the 10 catch 100 yard game record and also go over 10000 yards, plus 2 Tds. Its gonna be a homage week to one of the best to ever lace em up at the wide out position. Dude Can play slot for the last 5 yrs of his career when he gets slower and still put up welker numbers. Thats what ppl fail to realize with Andre he has no weakness for his position he can run every rout and block with the best of them. It's funny that people outside Houston think hes old and has slowed Down when really that's far from the truth. He's still explosive of the line as always, has the top end breakaway speed and the ability to still locate balls in the air. We run a different offense as everyone knows now but if Andre were on the ravens or another team thats more pass heavy he would still lead the league in receptions and yards. It never gets old watching this guy he's an absolute first ballot hall of famer in my eyes theres just no flaws in his game plus the records he holds and the accomplishments that hes achieved. It's really quite amazing he's done things Rice, Harrison and moss have never done that alone is very impressive. Hes One of the most underrated players of all time when it comes down to how much credit hea received for some of the things he's been able to do in his 10 year career.

Very few TDs for someone with 10,000 yards.

He will get it next week against the Jets, I dont see much throwing to him this week.
I read this in an article in NFL.com

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...n-texans-andre-johnson-not-worried-with-stats

"I don't really care about stats," said Johnson, according to the team website. "When you're a young player in this league, you tend to worry about that. Going through all the injuries and things I've been through over the last year, my big thing is just winning. That's all I'm worried about.

"Whatever we have to do to win, that's pretty much all that matters."

Even coach Gary Kubiak was worried about Johnson as the Texans ground out a 27-7 win over the Jaguars last week. Forty-eight of 83 offensive plays were runs.

"I came in there at halftime and coach Kubiak told me, 'Hey man, don't get frustrated. Just keep playing," Johnson said. "I was like, 'Coach, just run it down their throat. If they're going to keep letting us run it, keep running it.'"

The lack of TDs can be blamed on the coaching staff not going to him enough in the Red zone.

Still one of the greatest WR's to ever play.

I don't care if AJ is considered as great as Rice and Moss. I just want a Super Bowl ring. And I'm sure he does to.

can someone tell me the playmaker's best season for Touchdowns(10)? what? 7 In the back to back superbowls? no way! (rolls eyes)

Writers recognize D.R.E.'s awesomeness. If you need a huge play, andre will deliver.
Now he just has to win a superbowl for our glorious city...no pressure. =)

    Didn't get it today.

He's still getting a high yardage per reception average, but not as many receptions.
