    SoCar down 17-7 at half, beat Kentucky 38-17. And with that, Gameday is headed to South Carolina for Georgia/SoCar.

    Either of the Gene Chizik teams. Or when they went 5-7 in 2010. Or when they went .500 last year and lost their midtier bowl (the Pinstripe Bowl) game. They've finished above .500 all of once since 2005.

    Your pessimism is understandable, but what about David Ash and the offense? Is he really a legit passing QB? If so, they will wipe the field with WVU's defense.

    Marcus Mariota of Oregon is FAST. Wow! That was an impressive TD scramble.

    Texas' offense even at best isn't as good as WVU's. Texas' defense is just as bad WVU's defense right now.
