Well to be honest I played 17 years of football at every level from little league to semipro and all of it was primarily on the defensive side so I enjoy a defensive game. However, I do enjoy the occasional Madden score in a "shake my head in disbelief" sort of way. But hey, assume to your heart's content.

Yeah the fact that he was playing his very first college game meant nothing. Even then he finished with 235 yards against what is widely regarded as one of the better defenses in that nation. Are you and Skyrim sharing a brain?

He's a redshirt freshman, and he was playing in his FIRST COLLEGIATE GAME EVER. My God your UT homerism could NOT be more blatant. And his first half was FAR from mediocre in that game.
So, he has played 4 games in his WHOLE career. His first game ever goes 23/30 173 yards through the air with no ints, and 60 yards on the ground against a great defense. He then puts up absolutely ridiculous numbers against lesser opponents, but he's awful.
It's a self-fulfilling prophecy man. He does well and it's, "Well look at the defense! It proves nothing!" If he does poorly it's, "He sux!LOL" That way no matter what he NEVER has to admit that he might be wrong! It's brilliant I tell you! Of course, that means he never learns anything (since he's never wrong, no matter what he says is correct after all), but no worries.
