Big 12 is a tough confernce Iowa State would have went to a bowl last year in the Pac12, ACC, or the Big East
Florida is overrated, their QB cant throw... goes back to my theory of SEC schools not having good QB's Tebow and Cam were only 2 of relevance Florida being ranked 12th just proves my point that their is an SEC bias. A&M lost their QB, and is worse this year. And they barely won.. they should have lost( i dont care if it was Kyle Field) SEC Bias doesnt have me fooled
For recruiting purposes they would take A&M to open up the pipeline of Texas recruits, but not on history.
And the schools in the Big 12 are freaking world beaters?? Let's face it....the only schools right now that DON'T come up short every year are LSU and Alabama.
Comes up short of what? Winning a national title? Otherwise, Mizzou and Nebraska have pretty solid recent histories (and, if you want to go back more than 10 years, Nebraska has quite a bit of national championship hardware).
You know what, after reading through the rest of the thread (yeah, I know, cardinal sin), forget I posted anything. People have already called out Skyrim and pointed out the facts. No need to jump on the pile. I do get a laugh out of a #5 ranked team being "overrated". A LOT of people are overrating them then. Including people who know a heckuva lot more about football than any of us. Although I can just imagine when/if they do lose. "lol i told you they wuz overrated!"
Mizzou had a winning record (8-5, 5-4) in the exact same Big 12, against the identical conference schedule, that Iowa State (6-7, 3-6) had a losing record against.
So if you don't win a conference title, it's pointless? Didn't realize that finishing 1st in the MWC was more impressive than 2nd in the Big 12. My bad.
Honestly, I'm a little confused what you're arguing here. Are you arguing that the Big 12 is stronger than every other conference like that other idiot, or are you just talking **** about Missouri and Nebraska for no reason?
Didn't say they were. Im saying at least they don't have the fraud ass label of being the best conference because of the defense. Today proves it.
hate to change the subject Mizzou basketball team as a number 2 seed lost to a 15 seed in the NCAA tourney.. good riddance
What empirical evidence do you have that supports the belief that A&M is worse this year at 3-1 then last year when they finished 7-6 and won the Meineke Car Care bowl? This season they are 11th in points scored (45/game), 13 in points allowed (12.3/game) and have a balanced offense (254 yards passing a game, 208 rushing) with a redshirt freshman QB who's only going to improve? If you want to look to the future, they already have a good recruiting class and may still get Ricky Seals-Jones, one of the best WR recruits in the country. This is along with one of the better QB recruits in Kohl Stewart.
Mizzou will always be chokers, no matter how much talent they get they wont ever make a push lol Nebraska and A&M are just living off their names
