    :(

Did anyone else think that he would keep running and then jump off a cliff or something? Pretty chilling either way.

I hate when people on this board try justify their sick humor by "well he was wrong anyways" same ****ing **** with the Ryan Dunn incident.

Maybe he was a felon, doesen't mean you have any right to make fun of a fatal situation. Karma's a fat sweaty b****, keep your ****ty humor to yourself.

Not you specifically but just being a consumer of media and information at this time. Violence and tragedy are paramount for news organizations, add to that a 24 hour news cycle and the internet, where you can see the bad all around the world and keep getting it reinforced over and over and over again.

Why are they showing a car chase on national news? I thought that is what local news was for.

They all break in to these events at times. I've seen them on CNN, Fox, MSNBC, etc. Not sure why but they all do it.

I am shocked this aired. I always figured they did slight tape delays for these very instances.

The founder was an Isreali immigrant. Perhaps targeted.

Shep was a little slow on the uptake but between this and some of his Katrina work he seems like a decent human being. That being said, broadcasting live police chases is profoundly stupid, despite the fact that it's wholly journalistically and commercially legitimate.

I don't know the story on this but would you think it's possible that he was mentally unstable?

DAMN that was crazy. Don't blame society for making you desensitized to this stuff I watched and am a bit shaken. I've never seen someone shoot himself in the head before in real life.

Chilling to observe someone relatively young and healthy reach that point of desperation and hopelessness. Eat a burger, watch a movie.

It's strange, but watching horrific stuff/people die kinda sobers you the hell up and makes you realize that 1) your problems ain't that bad and 2) life can go bye-bye at any moment.

They don't show this kind of stuff for a reason, but I think too many people are sheltered from reality these days.

I remember the police chase that ended in the greenspoint area and the guy jump off the parking garage, breaking both his legs. Its on you tube under Houston police chase.
