er---feel free to never cite BLS stats ever again, seeing as you don't seem to know how they work, and seeing as they're "cooked". One less "LFPR is low!!! Unemployment is 8%+++++++!" crower around. whee
If by cooking you mean presenting facts, then I suppose. There is any easy way to "fix" the jobs numbers. Increase government spending so we hire back the 750k jobs that were cut during the spending cuts and the our unemployment rate will be below 8%. So which is it? You want to cut spending (aka jobs)? Or increase spending to lower unemployment numbers?

Yes, it's true, when you look at jobs created they've been hugely private sector oriented, and the jobs lost have been very heavily from the govt. sector. There's firefighters, police, teachers, etc. that have all been getting laid off because of govt. cuts.
Pooooooor Republicans. The last big chance to cheerlead for higher unemployment and ...the jobless rate declines from 8.1 to 7.8 (and the previous 3 month's gains revised upwards to more than double what they were reported...)
