Maybe it's different for iPad, but first touch control alone is a huge difference to me on the PS3. The way players shield opposition off loose balls is really excellent as well. And of course the changes to career mode seem pretty sweet so far.

Only unexpected annoyance to me so far: the "match day" thing or whatever, where it pulls what is supposedly your team's latest formation/lineup in real life. Well, I play Inter, and the formation they pulled for Inter is just plain incorrect compared to what happened in real life. Secondly, I'd like to be able to play a quick game with my favorite team without having to re-arrange the lineup to my liking every. single. time. What's the point of configuring the rosters to your liking if you never get to use them?

If it's what I'm thinking it is you should be able to turn that off. On the team selection screen press triangle, there's an icon in the middle of the screen that tells you if it's on or off.

Just had a hat trick with Neymar.

    of course I'm only on semi-pro because I'm still a n00b.

Aha, you're right, thanks a bunch. I figured there might be a way to turn it off, but didn't see that. Hiding in plain sight I guess.

Though what would be really nice is, if I could turn it on for other teams and not for my team... I'm fine with the changes in form as well, I just don't like having to change formation, tactics, and lineups.

But yeah. Really really impressed with the game in general. Amazing how it gets so much closer to the real life sport every year. The impact of first touch control can't be overstated.

Been playing since the early release and I am really liking the game. I picked up the Disc version of it yesterday and played a few games. You can definitely tell a difference and it takes a bit more to get used to because you can't just pass the ball around and have it stick to the players foot like in the past ones.

Haha nice man...good games for sure. It's like we take turns winning then tie after tie.

What mode were you telling me to play? Right now the only ones I used to play was basically Ultimate Team as well as Seasons.

Play Pro Clubs with me this year. I think its the best part of the game. I play mostly Attacking Mid/ST, but I'm at my best as Winger.

I gotta get my VP level up once I get the game.. Gonna take a while.... :(

You gotta be in a good club.. Play around in some clubs for a bit and some pro ranked matches (pretty much "pick up" games where everyone ballhogs). It'll give you the idea.. Good clubs play organized and with chemistry. It's really great. We can try playing sometime.

If we can get enough people to make a Clutchfans team I'd be interested.

Yeah same here. I would rather like to play with people that I know and we can build up. Or at least have a good majority of us on a team.

We can build our players accordingly.

One thing I noticed when I was making my pro yesterday for fun. You can basically give them as many stats as you want in each category so that didn't make sense to me. Like for everything I was able to move it to 99 rated.

Don't have to build up or anything. I wonder if I was in the wrong mode this time or what.

    ^ I like that feature...

I have made a "friends" team with all the peeps I know from back in my days playing... both here and in Mexico. I even make their faces look like my friends' faces. It's fun. I could probably make an all ClutchFans' team based on all the peeps I know personally from here.

I don't have 13 yet so I'm not sure but I think you might have been in "create a player" rather than "virtual pro"?

In any case, I think (atleast I heard) in 13 you can only get VP accomplishments ONLINE and there is no more OFFLINE accomplishments. So the only way you can build your VP is through playing online. Again, I'm not sure since I haven't picked up the game yet.
