He's not big or strong enough to pull that off...he's just got similar movements, swag, whatvr you want to call it. Probably a NY connection.
I saw that series. I simply posted a video where I saw similarities in style of play, not what's eventually forthcoming and what could happen. That was also Ramon's first playoff series and he changed his game up to fit Mike Brown's "offense".
Interesting comment. Starting at 48 seconds. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/6iLsiuHPRfU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Just listen to about half the interview and i'm sure i missed some points, but here's some of the things he said :- Machado interview starts around 20 min mark - Asked some questions about the knicks(host & machado r knicks fan) what he'll do (?) if he's drafted by the knicks, and how he thinks of the knicks team - He's at Houston now. - Said he bonds up with teammates, played pick up games, ahve a few dinners. - mentioned morris, forbes, jajuan johnson, lamb, lin,TD,Asik say they r good dudes & teammates. cant remember whether he mentioned others. He said they (teammates) talked with each other. - on PG situation:he said there'll be a lot of competition He honestly dont know about the situation ( if i'm not mistaken).says Lin and TD is here( @ Houston) - Says he will play his game, do what he do best. & step up on court. I'll post after i finish the whole thing later. i was a bit afraid machado says the wrong thing, but he seems to give the correct answer.i guess ny media is twisting everything again. and honestly the two hosts seems to be whole heartly rooting 4 machado to succceed instead of baiting him.
Thanks for the link. I listened to the whole thing last night. That Uncle G is funny. I wasn't too crazy about the things he said about Lin at the end, but he was jokingly being supportive of Scott, though.
The host is a big fan of Machado. The last part about wishing injury on Lin so that Machado could play was a little over the top though. Not sure why people keep insisting that Lin is fragile or bound to have another injury when many other players have had the same injury, and came out okay.
Is this a stereotype of Asian basketball player because of Yao Ming? Blake Griffin had the same injury too, why they always doubt Lin's health? Typical NY fans - follow the medias Last season, Lin was from the end of the bench to be the starting PG playing 36-40mins under MDA so he got injury. This season, Lin loses weight and improves Catch&Shoot(it means less penetration). He would be OK.
