The Titans have discovered an offensive punch, but they won't outscore the Texans -- should be a fun high scoring game. 38-28 Texans with the win.
Kubes would never let the Texans win by 50. Once we hang 20+ on them we'll ride out the clock from there. 34-17 Texans.
It's not going to be high-scoring. Texans are going to run the ball, be very patient, and score regularly, but the main thing is, they will EAT the clock, somewhere in the neighborhood of a 40-20 advantage in ToP. Because of this, they won't actually HAVE that many drives, because their drives are going to last almost 10 minutes each. So the Texans will score 24 points - 4 long drives, 3 TDs and one FG. Titans may make one or two big plays, and score ten points by the end. So, Texans win 24-10, but the score will not really tell the tale of the utter domination by Houston.
Can't believe we're at the quarter pole already. Football season seems to fly by while the offseason takes forever. This would be a letdown game for the old Texans. This year's club seems focused, so I expect them to continue to play well. They have a chance to put the Titans a full three games behind them and go 2-0 in the division. We don't play another divisional game until November 18, so it would be nice to get a win. I always expect a close game, especially against divisional rivals. Play well and limit the mistakes and we should be 4-0 come Sunday evening.
The officiating crew working the Texans game Sunday is the same one who worked the 49ers-Vikings game last Sunday in which they gave Jim Harbaugh a challenge even though he didn't have any timeouts left. It's also the crew that worked the week 2 Monday night game between Altanta and Denver where there were extracurricular activities between the players and it seemed they lost control of the game.
I see this game like the week 2 against Jax. Schaub not having great numbers, (because they wont need to throw a lot) Foster and Tate getting big numbers. - 3 rushing TDs between Foster and Tate. and Watt with 2 sacks. score 27-9
Is it true that Lestar Jean won't play Sunday? Heard on it on KHOU 11 news this evening but don't see it reported anywhere else...
we win 24 to 3. The local pundits will be like, " y no air out more! they'll never win against tecmo bowl teams if they no air out!!!" I expect both foster and tate to exploit their front seven, which is giving up 150 yards per game on the ground.(to teams like the lions!) These games are known to get chippy wouldn't expect anything else.
Our defense won't let down....Even if the offense comes out flat (which they shouldn't), I think a Super Bowl like avalanche effect will happen....turnovers, big plays, etc. Either way - Texans 45 Lilliputians 10
I'm going to this one. Was going to wear my Earl Cambell throwback out of respect for the legend, but I don't want people to think I'm some jerk off titans fans.
to be fair, those two stuck around a lot longer than most of the other pretenders, who were really just haters more than tittie fans. they even, more than once, gave the Texans due props during last season.
