The Romney campaign does a lot of that huh? "clarifying" But that doesn't negate the FACT that Mr Obama has not raised taxes and Romney admits it. can't wait for the debates!
533 documented lies in 30 weeks! Guess who? http://www.patheos.com/blogs/slackt...-lies-in-30-weeks-steve-benen-documents-them/
Can we just skip the debates and throw both candidates into a pit strapped with a bomb to each others chest, who ever pulverizes the other one first before the bomb goes off, wins. That will settle all this nonsense.
Paul Ryan never should have accepted Romney's invitation if he wasn't going to be a team player. If this is legit and breaks out into the open, Romney won't even have a "Hail Mary's" chance of winning. I imagine strong denials by Ryan should be enough to put the fire out in short order. This is VERY ugly stuff. I have a hard time believing it.
Romney has cratered. Gee, I guess nominating the love child of Gordon Gekko and Prince Humperdink right after enabling the worst financial crisis in history wasn't such a good idea, eh pubbies?
Why not? McCain and Palin didn't exactly get along. Like any sport, when the team is winning, all the imperfections are forgiven and forgotten. When you are on a losing streak, every man for himself.
New ABC News/Washington Post poll out this morning. 6 in 10 people polled view Romney's campaign negatively. Criticism of Romney's Campaign Grows Sixty-one percent in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll hold an unfavorable view of how Romney's handling his presidential campaign, up by 12 percentage points since mid-July. Far fewer, 35 percent, rate Romney's performance positively, essentially unchanged. Barack Obama's ratings for handling his campaign are substantially better, 54-43 percent, favorable-unfavorable. And while ratings of Romney's campaign have grown more negative, favorable ratings of Obama's campaign efforts have gained 8 points since July.
That poll question or its reporting sounds like a waste of money. I care more public opinion about their policies and how they'd govern than how they'd run a billion dollar popularity contest. I read somewhere that the $$$ media will make Romney the winner of the first debates, then gradually ratchet up the drama for the final "Game 7". You know, since the real swing state polling has been ignored and replaced with the "dead heat" national polling. So disgustingly consistent with today's standards that it's more possible than hokum.
