Patronizing at Chick-Fil-A only implies a disapproval with gay sex, not all sex. Sounds like you need to get laid more.
Read the rest of this thread. She doesn't know who the **** you are Ras. To imply that she was bullying you all highschool-like makes me think you're entitled to more than you know, and probably as much as that beemer beyotch you desperately wanted to teach a lesson to.
The second the wife was upset, you should have stopped, but I hope that lady got some special sauce on her chicken, had a flat tire on the way home and got a piece of waffle fry stuck in that one annoying spot in her teeth that she couldn't reach, driving her bonkers for the rest of the day. People like that suck.
Dude. This is pretty mean. Wishing stuff like this on people...? Shouldn't we just... oh, forget it. Come on, now... don't wish harm on peeps... well, only on Cowboy and Jazz fans!
This is why you shouldn't eat fast food - it brings out the lowest common denominator of society. There's plenty of casual dining options available for only a couple of bucks more, and you don't have to deal with the mouth breathers.
you just don't know the rules OP When someone cuts in front of me in slow moving traffic, unless i intended allowing them, i end up blaming myself...you cannot allow an opening for the more aggressive. Koroidtho.
It's a bad joke. Some Christians seriously believe it's more about the buttsex than the people who practice it.
damn dude, I'm prone to overreactions myself, but I gotta say man, yours was kinda cray cray. gotta dial that down a notch.
not trying to come off sarcastic, but your sexual tendencies in the bedroom should not define who you are as a person. You wouldn't want to have to add see through shirts to your warddrobe if you ever had a threesome, right?
If it's consensual and doesn't harm anyone else, then I don't really care. Keep in mind that those rules were imposed at a time when the Jewish people were surrounded and outnumbered, so anything unrelated to raising families like jerking off or homosexuality was a big no-no to the health of the tribe. "Health advisories", like eating pork (trichinosis) or shellfish was also bad for survival. I think there are certain messages people pay too much attention to, and are counterintuitive to whatever broad message they try to evangelize, in order to deflect away the obviously clear ideals that they're sorely deficient in. /soapbox
no more along the lines that it's stupid that a proclivity for one sexual act would act to define a person in a supposedly rational society, especially when the particular act has been practiced for milleniums and it's never been a point of identity prior to our particular society. for example the Greeks did the buttsecks but all married and had kids and didn't think of themselves as "gay" like... I like pie. so I really think I'm a wired differentlythan someone who likes cake. you know? born different? and for anyone who might get figuratively butthurt (not literally butthurt which I guess is an important distinction to make) I'm not saying this is what I believe but making a correction on what you wrote about what "those people" who we do not appreciate believe to OP. yeah you overreacted. there's no way that the woman thought you were waving her in with a parking lot full of customers so that part is bull**** but don't make your wife cry. you might need her goodwill some day.
I tend to agree with this. Far too much emphasis placed on one sin versus the bigger message of imperfection of humans in general. Still though, if a banker is gay, I don't need to know he's a gay banker, know what I'm saying? It's kind of counterintuitive to the whole "we're normal and not different" narrative when you insist on putting a label on yourself.
wow this dude wrote something similar to what I wrote while I was writing my post keep in mind though that homosexuality is rejected in most historical societies. for example the Confucians weren't too big on it either so it's not directly related to Abrahamic traditions. other societies which did allow the sticking in the arse had it exist within the family structure via pedastry or bisexuality in Greece etc. for example in parts of Afghanistan where it's practiced to this day by "hetrosexual" married men. there probably were numerous pro-butt secks sodomite societies alongside homophobic ones in history. I think it's probably that when life was marginal the societies that were more robust with an all-hands-on-deck attitudes towards reproduction were the ones who made it all of the cultures that made it to the modern age have a particular emphasis on family and incorporate reproduction and family into their moral code. if even 10% of the men or women weren't participating it would have a huge impact on the overall viability of course in the modern age none of that is an issue... overpopulation is more of a problem than anything so a homophobic society has little advantage over one like ours
I have a bit of a different perspective on this. If you're wife didn't cry / wasn't upset / was perhaps even equally enraged would you be feeling bad for your actions? Separating your actions with the BMW lady from making your wife upset, I actually don't have too big of an issue with your rage actions. Looking at things for that given situation, I have no context. I don't know how your day's been that day, I don't know how stressed you are, I don't know if you're dealing with loss. For all I know, you may be at a breaking point due to bigger life issues. This is why, IMO, the BMW lady deserved what she got ... for ever action there's a reaction and you never know what may tip someone over their breaking point. In other words, treat others as you would like to be treated (I know it's corny). From that aspect, hurting your wife's feeling was collateral damage, but damage nonetheless. And so I do think it was wrong of you to put your rage over her feelings, notably to that degree. But like I said, the action involving the BMW lady I don't have too big of an issue with.
