I have the S3 which runs on ICS. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to have it set so that I don't get notifications at night (email, texts, etc.), or at least have it set to silent or something. I'm getting tired of having to do this manually every frigging night. Is there anywhere at all that I can setup to stop receiving emails and texts after a certain time or at the very least have a automatic sound profile kick in after a certain time? I have been woken up some many times already because of some email at 3 o clock in the morning.

You can probably set it so that you dont get any data night. That should cut out the emails and most notifications.

Why not just put the phone on vibrate?

I think it's a legitimate question. I obviously know how to turn sound on and off, but if you have a very regular lifestyle and sleep pattern (which I don't, so I wouldn't use it), I don't think there is an option to automatically switch from sound to vibrate only or totally silent at certain times. I know that it exists now in iOS 6, didn't before for Apple either.

One easy solution, download a free app from the Play Store called Sound Profile. It lets you set times the notification alarms can and can not ring.

aye...repped him as well. I am apparently not the only person who forgets his phone is on silent a lot.
