What's your point? They had a first and 10 (after two first downs) near midfield and were controlling the clock prior to the fumble. This has been a formula for success for them in the past. Are you complaining about the play calling that got them consecutive first downs?
i am bored with this. i said he called a great game but had a really bad sequence that ended up with a fumble that wasn't entirely tate's fault. momentum shifted. have a nice day.
Did anyone else feel like we exercised a TON of demons yesterday? Denver has been nothing but purgatory for the old Oilers in their history. Remember Stagger Lee in 87? Or the Elway drive in 91? Of course you do. Add the fact that Manning has been nothing but a thorn in the Texan's side, and it's almost as if we brought a little redemption to all of it in 1 game. Would be even more fun if we met again in the playoffs....but I don't think the Broncos are going to hold up their end of the bargain.
Mark Berman @MarkBermanFox26 Gary Kubiak says WR Lestar Jean has a "meniscus issue" and will get a scope on Tuesday. Definitely out for this week's against Titans.
-Not concerned about C onnor Barwin; having a fine year. -J.J. Watt playing great football(3 weeks in a row), DPOG -Playing well on 3rd down O and 3rd down O. -I don't see those things in the game(asked about Schaub hit). He took a good shot there. That's the league's job to sort that out. Fortunate our guy is fine. We'll see what happens. -Tennessee, first thing that jumps out is who they've played. Tough schedule early on for them. Big win for them yesterday. Young QB who can move around. Physical football team. I haven't got started on them yet. Divisional game, we know what type of game it will be. -We'll continue to spot play(with Ryan and Newton). Newton a young player. There will be ups and downs as he grows. Ryan is a vet. You'll see Ryan and Jones play some. We'll continue to handle it that way. -With the external talk, do you have to worry about that? I don't. They've been working hard enough as a group. They know how hard it is to get where they are today. They're having success because they're working hard and playing good football. Got home at 1 and they're right back out here in the morning. They gotta keep the hammer on themselves. Got a long way to go. -Donnie punting well. One at the end was huge. Impressed with Donnie and Shayne doing a good job too. 2 vets who got new life in the league with us and doing well. -As fans, what everyone sees is the competition of the game but what guys don't see is the respect factor. Most know each other. They'll get after each other but also great respect. (Dnever)They're a physical team. Part of the game and we worked through it. -Matt was getting hit too much. We gotta protect him better but Matt played tough all day long. Matt has always demonstrated great toughness. Hell of a job. -Satisfy with Trindon? Disappointed with some of the decisions he's making. We can win some games on ST because of his ability but decision making has to get better. Seems we're having it one time a week, having this discussion each week. I like his want to. Making poor decisions fielding balls. I don't want to take the aggression away but he has to play smart. -Every great player is hard on themselves. You want guys competing like that. But did he make a big one there, the 6 yard catch. That's why Andre is Andre, he'll push himself. -We'll be a good group (up front O-Line). Probably play 7 guys here and see how it works out. Whoever is doing it the best, they'll be out there. -I talked to Arian after the game. It's a long season. We rely on him a great. I told him never a reason for him to be gassed. He understands. The fresher we can keep Arian, the better. But certain days. the more he carries, the better he gets. We'll keep an eye on it.
Mark Berman @MarkBermanFox26 [rquoter]Gary Kubiak says S Quintin Demps had thumb surgery and is expected to play this week with a cast which he did in the second half yesterday Gary Kubiak says QB Matt Schaub is fine, went through his normal drills today[/rquoter]

i came to post the same thing lol. Hope they suspend him, it was totally an unnecessary hit that could really have hurt Schaub.....beyond losing a chunk of his ear.
that hit was too fast. i would like to see it in slow motion. its its worse because of the way that the guy on shaubs right pushed him enough and by then the guy hitting him had put his head down for the hit. also theres gotta be a rule against tearing off part of a dudes ear. I mean come on, you figure you will not miss a piece of ear but when its gonna its just like something is missing.
1- It was a helmet to helmet hit 2- It was hard enough to make Schaubs helmet fly off what more do you need to see?
Von Miller deserves a fine as well. It was completely unnecessary for him to drive Schaub into the ground like that. That's what leads to separated shoulders and things of that nature. Both hits were malicious, and had Jack Del Rio's punk ass written all over them.
This is not super slow mo but watch it a few times and some things stick out. 1. right before the hit you can see him lower his head and spear him in a helmet to helmet hit. 2. he clearly doesn't even try to use his hands to wrap Schaub up with a hit clearly showing he was trying to launch his body into him. 3. The way he finishes it off with an upward motion to knock him back. Bottom line it's clearly malicious and will receive a fine.
