Because he's a hater. Haters exaggerate and point out the negatives and never mention the positives. That draws more attention and makes them feel more important.

Brothas do have naturally salty attitudes cuz they're not witty and grow up with dark role models so they hate on those who disrupt their ideals of status. It's all about clawing and grinding and sweating your way to the top to get out of the hood, whereas sweet Jeremy floated in like a virgin asian angel from the ivy league. Untouched, chastity intact. Whereas most brothas think theyve been to prison and raped.

I feel you playboy, I ain't even trippin.

Yup, and the fact that he pretty much SWALLOWED UP ALL MEDIA attention in a new york minute put a bunch of brotha's panties up in a bunch.

So I'd say it's 50% player hatin and about 50% b****y sorority girl hatin'.

On top of that, you've got the white guys, the jocks who had a bro-mance with a couple of brotha's in high school which proves to them that they're not racists, who ironically join in on the racist attacks against Lin!

It's like attacking an Asian player isn't racism, or is somehow offset by bro-mancing black dudes. The idiocy and illogic of it all is truly maddening.

    "YOU have a dream?!?"

Straight up black jealousy! And then you have their guilt ridden white apologists peeking from behind their mommy's skirts talkin ish. Sad sh##...

I don't think it's personal, it's just an easy way to talk smack. Is it really racist to doubt lin because of a big contract off a short period of success? Shaq made racist comments about Yao when he entered the league - but it had more to do with a potential change of guard coming from an unlikely source (like you said). Atleast African Americans are being open about their ignorance as opposed to the stealthy **** talkers like Ernie Johnson. You can tell he's a behind the scenes racist putting on a front, I've seen it in his eyes.

If Lin plays at a decent level just below All Star, no one will say anything. But if he's a borderline starter, it will start up again .. just the petty side of human nature.

Interesting take on Ernie....I've seen plenty of post game shows and never really seen anything which suggests racism. He's pretty much set up as a punching bag for barkley (white guilt 101).

Any vid cilps, or more of a 6th sense take?

i can care less about the jealous unaccomplished bunch who are still trying to get theirs. i'd rather listen to HOFers, current greats, and true basketball minds when talking about Lin. Magic Johnson, Bob Cousy, Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant, Hubie Brown ..to name a few.

Lol , poor Ernie. You're right about him - I was emphasizing the point these guys are at the very least, being open about their ignorance to someone playing in their park. Someone new is getting a cut of that pie and they don't like it , but like Sam Cooke said, a change is gonna come, it's really happening and once it does the smiles and smirks these comments get are gone - it's a fad.

I cant believe you cant even criticize a player on clutchfans anymore without it turning into a discusion about race. RACE has nothing to do with it. These people have criticized athletes of all races, not just asians. Have you ever heard SAS talk about Kwame Brown? He absolutely kills the guy. Skip Bayless has an irrational hatred, real hatred, of Lebron. Noone cries racism for that. He is just jealous of his success.

I think ima stay away from clutchfans for a while. This **** is getting ridiculous.
