We blew like 4 easy interceptions and had a fumble that switched the momentum. The game was closer than it should have been but if you give manning opportunities, he will take advantage. Glad we came out on top.
Schaub. Major rep to him. Showed some good precision on long throws. Took the cheap shot hits, had part of ear ripped of, and still showed leadership. Hopefully heavy penalties to dumerville, and miller.
Yep... basically if the play works, its what they should be doing... and when it doesn't, its a bad playcall. Got it.
The NFL should fine the second consecutive hit by that fat guy, I have no tolerance for dirty plays like that. Love Matt Schaub's toughness though
the funny thing is if champ wasn't champ that was a td, when he got layed out. I still think that defenders get insulted with our great zone blocking scheme that they take it out on a defenseless qb. (accidently rolling him up 3 seconds after releasing the ball etc) Mays had been complaining to one of the refs pointing at his legs around the 2nd qtr. opposing defenses, you got beef with how we block, settle it mano a mano and challenge dre to a fight..see how that works out.
champ bailey got lucky with his foot. shaub was killing them with great passing. i guess they were mad and wanted to take cheap shot at shaub. especially the one with von miller. he drove matt into the ground. i thought miller was different but i guess anyone can get frustrated
your blind hatred for kubiak is silly. IIRC, the moment you showed up in this thread was right after the three and out by the Texans after Peyton threw the TD. you know what happened on that 3 and out? Schaub came out firing over the middle on first down, but incomplete. then, it was a run play on second. on third down it was a screen play that denver read. none of it screamed conservative. then after the TD that got the brocs within 6, the Texans got into a third down and long. did the Texans try to run out more time? uh, no. Schaub threw to AJ to basically ice the game.
Haha, I thought the same thing... until I concluded that maybe I was projecting my own nausea onto him. Observations: - Schaub was a man today! He hung in the pocket, knowing full-well of the impending hits, waiting for things to develop--he was being aggressive! I hope he doesn't do that too much this season, or he's not going to make it to the playoffs... - I like picking on Kareem, but that pass interference call was bogus! Well, from the camera angle they showed us at least. That made a huge difference in the game, extending the almost dead(?) Denver drive. - Amazing how much momentum can change with a fumble! I think I understand Kubiak's doghouse a little better today... - Peyton still scares me! I'm glad we got to face him in the beginning of the season before the Broncos transform into the Forehead's well-oiled machine. I imagine we could see them again in the playoffs. I don't look forward to that!
