Except for when elected to throw for the 1st down that essentially clinched the game.

We should be rank #1 in this week Espn poll

I have a 1k Texans to win Super Bowl wager to win $11.75k

Dont expect them too but if they can get the first playoff bye, the bet was to hedge them with only 3 games to the Super Bowl

Love tonite game either Balt or NE will have 2 loses n us 0

Aside from getting owned on the first play by Dumerville, Newton looked good, I wonder if a mistake he made in either the Schaub hit or the Tate fumble that caused the coaches to replace him with Harris?

Now that I've calmed down and my heart rate is back to "safe" levels, I will look at the last part of the game a bit more optimistically.

If we had just curbstomped the Broncos like we had been doing for most of the game, all of the national headlines and conversation would be discussing if Peyton was still able to play at this level. The Texans wouldn't have gotten any credit for being 3-0...you'd have people saying "Yeah, they beat two bad teams and a Denver team with a Peyton who is a shell of his former self."

Instead we saw that Peyton Manning is still freaking Peyton Manning. We saw him rally a team that should have been beaten down; but unlike past encounters our team actually beat him!

Now, hopefully, the talk will be that the Texans are legit. Our guys will now be the focus, not the QB of the other team.

Then again, I like it when other teams take our guys for granted! :)

Offsides and called for two holds as well. Plus beated on several other run/pass plays.

He's big, strong, and relatively fast, but he's lagging mentally.

As a Broncos fan, I was going to congratulate you guys on a good win. Some of you are sensible and level-headed, but there are some that are delusional. You are not going to beat Peyton Manning and a good Broncos team by 20 or more at their place. Maybe to the Raiders or some other scrub team, but not the Broncs. Let's get a grip here guys. If the Broncs can't win the Super Bowl, I would like to see the Texans do it. But you guys would do well not to get so cocky yet. Makes it hard to keep rooting for you and your team.

I hope it wasn't on that Von Miller late hit. Driving him into the turf like that concerned me at the time. Hopefully it's all precautionary. At least they mentioned during the broadcast that Beck can throw the ball 65 yards or so, in Denver anyway.

Half the fans here jumped on the bandwagon and would happily jump off if this team starts to struggle again.

Very few were here since the beginning... begging people to give them a chance to "build" something before throwing them under the bus.

The Broncos would do well to just go hurry-up and let Peyton run the show... seems like that's the only way to maximize Manning's production. Then again, that runs the risk of eliminating the running game (which Denver relied on so heavily last year). Regardless, the Broncos have a ton of season left to figure it out... also need to stop the cheap-shots that Schaub endured today.

I hate when guys beat their chest as much as the next guy but "come on man!"... when is the last time houston had a legit reason to be excited. I say let them (and me) have our time of feeling good for a change. i wouldnt stomp on you if the outcome was different today and you were excited about a good win against a good team... just sayin :)

what else did you really expect to see coming in the game thread anyways?
AND its true, the outcome could of been a lot worse for denver. not sure how that is perceived as cocky...
