    Just look at the team. Look at the talent. Look at what they do to their opposition. They put their beef on Michigan's face and manhandled that sissy team. Eyeball test man. The coach just wins, the talent is there, they execute, they destroy. They need to be in a title game if they go undefeated. No questions about it.

    At home, they only beat Michigan by 7 despite 5 turnovers by Shoelace.

    The passage you quoted was referring to Alabama, not Notre Dame. ND's offense needs a lot of work --- but their defense is damn strong. They've held Michigan State and Michigan without a touchdown, despite starting a secondary of mostly true freshmen. Their front seven is pretty damn good.
