he hasn't improved any, if at all. He has super happy feet when he even sees a bit of pressure. He can't throw the ball unless he has a clean pocket with no pressure coming at him. And what's worse is that his pocket presence is terrible as well.
I know that OU clobbered KSU last year, but that was an anomaly. You really don't bet against a Bill Snyder team.
Not to mention his knack for turning the ball over. The fumble he had in the first half was just awful, he basically ran straight into a defender and fumbled into the end zone. It's hard to believe that at one time he was considered a first round NFL prospect. If I was Stoops, I'd be starting Blake Bell the rest of the season.
To be fair, our struggles have a lot more to do with the offense. The defense is generally playing OK... but when your offense goes 3-and-out every series and has the equivalent of the 2002 Texans offensive line, the opposing team is going to be on the field enough that they eventually score points. James Franklin is essentially Jarrod Johnson in his last year at A&M. He's just not the same player following offseason shoulder surgery. Completely unable to make plays downfield. It's partly due to the OL injuries, but it's also on him. Hoping Mizzou moves on soon and sees what else it has at QB. Hope RM95 didn't take my advice about betting on Arkansas. Guess they really are that bad (lost at home to Rutgers). Hard to believe.
Bama may be the best team in the nation, but how are we supposed to know when they have about the easiest schedule outside of a 3A high school. I thought LSU would at least be their one and only quality game but after tonights 2 point win over a very very bad Auburn team I'm not even sure they are much better than average. Not to worry for Bama though, they had the cup cake walk of all schedules last year with only one quality win (against Arkansas) and still made it to the national championship game.
1. Alabama 2. Florida State 3. LSU 3. Oregon 5. Georgia 5. South Carolina LSU looked liked chumps against Auburn. Not much else to say. Not really sold on Oregon but I can see them improving as the season progresses. Good to see Hightower's Bralon Addison catch a 55-yard TD pass. Georgia vs. South Carolina in a couple of weeks will be fun. I wish I had bet on K-State.
