Agreed I mean seriously .. If she had jumped out of the car and put three through his windsheild and killed him There is a very good chance she would have gotten off because she was 'scare for her life' Take into account a few other details and it would be guaranteed. Rocket River
I was at the last Tom Petty concert in The Woodlands and long store short, they ended up making a mistake with tickets and everyone had to go through Will Call and it was a very slow process. We missed ZZ Top by the time we even got in. This drunk hick wanders up and offers the guy in front of me $20 to let him cut. I was annoyed but had no motivation to start anything over this stupid. I guess I should have just let him cut me for $10 and sent the money to the back of the line until someone was shady enough to pocket it.
I found the most appropriate reaction to someone road raging at me is to simply stare back at them with a slight KingCheetahâ„¢ smirk. Can you even imagine how infuriating it would be to be out of your mind cursing and spitting with rage only to see this? Spoiler
Wow im smh at this thread. What type of loser loses it over something like this at a fast food place? Then goes to an even worse fast food place. Your wife must be so proud.
I remember one incident: I drove with some friends from Houston to San Antonio. On the way back, this red pickup truck was really aggressively tailgating. First I thought I should get mad and perhaps make some hand gestures at the guy. I decided to just let him pass. Some miles later, I saw the guy's car lying in a ditch. I thought the guy must have lost control because he drove too fast. Anyway, back in Houston, I watched the news - and the guy was shot dead by another driver. Apparently, he was still trying to push cars out of the way and when someone didn't want to let him pass, he flashed his gun at him. Tough luck, the other guy also had a gun and was faster. This was in 1996.
I'm all for acting like a mature adult but this philosophy is sad. You just can't let people push you around. I remember in high school I had a bully tormentor for years and (we'll call him "Joe") one day when he was picking on me in a class he actually knocked me over in my desk (I honestly can't remember how he knocked me over) I got up ran over and punched him during the middle of class. The teacher sent me out of the room and the rest of the class was giving Joe a hard time about what happened while he acted like if it somehow my fault and that I somehow knocked my desk over and got up and puched him for no reason. Amazingly neither one of us got in trouble. And while he said he wanted to fight me we never did and he stopped picking on me. The people in the class had a new amount of respect for me and I had more self confidence and felt better about myself than I had in a long time. And while I admit real life isn't high school, you have to put douche bags in their place. And I admit if this was in a place with people I know (at work for instance) I know I have to keep my rage in check better.
I wanted to add, I know that today's incident is not the same as I had to deal with in high school (cutting in line vs years of torment) and I admit I overreacted, but still with little recourse, there was little I could do. Which is part of the reason I got so angry, it is a helpless situation when you know there is nothing you can do. That just made it so much worse.
I don't think it's good for your blood pressure. And neither is getting worked up like that for something trivial.
I'd be upset but really 7-8 minutes? That's like 2 songs on the radio. I'd would have raised my hand at her like wtf and stopped there.
b****es be hungry I hate that **** too, when people try to cut in line "Knowing they're screwing over the other peeps", but we shouldn't be so self righteous..
Dang man, what they put in that Chic-Fil-A chicken got people wrapped around the building, cutting in line, and cussing each other out. Yes, you were wrong just because your actions affected other people too other than the person intended too.
